Sometimes the hatred and general douchebagginess (it is so a word) of many people (often thinly guised as "advice" or "criticism" or "sharing one's opinion") really gets to me.

And this isn't even on my page (which I can easily ignore).  It's everywhere.  Folks so eager to "share their opinion" that they don't stop to think how it might make another feel.  Or maybe they think about it, and still don't care.  I don't know.

What I do know is that life is short.  So I'm going to use my time to focus on people that add joy and humor and goodwill to my world.  I'm going to focus on the part that matters.  :-)

 i am here to bring awareness to all of you.  
Do you have any questions about my Crohn's Disease or any other IBD {Inflammatory Bowel Disease}?  
IBD is very different from IBS {Irritable Bowel Syndrome},
so please try not to get the two confused.
Millions of people all over the world are affected by this life crippling disease, it's time to get the word out so we can find a cure or at least get a little understanding as to what we go through on a daily basis.  I also want to thank all of you that have reached out to me and to others who struggle with similar issues.

Over the last two weeks, we've spent a decent amount of time in doctor's offices.  The little one has been suffering from allergies, but it looks like we've finally (fingers crossed) found a solution that will bring him some relief.  Woohoo!

ARTISTS! If you're sharing your work on Google+ there's one important new "feature" you're going to want to disable immediately! Auto Enhance.
You know those colors you slaved over for hours to get just right? Google+ thinks it can do better, and if you don't turn it off it will boost up the saturation and blow out the contrast, forcing you to go back to every image individually to undo it.
Or, you can nip it in the bud right now. Go to the left to make the pop up menu appear, hit settings, and uncheck the box I've highlighted below.

I have to say, this is absolutely beautiful. Google promises that it will be easier to find the topics you're interested in, post, and search. It's exactly what we've always predicted Google+ would become. You can click on a card, flip it over, and see related content. Most amazing is that when you post a photo, Google will scan the image and show you related content. If you share a photo of the Eiffel Tower, you don't have to say "Eiffel Tower" in your post anymore. Google knows and will suggest other posts about it. Epic.
