The pros aren't playing, but kids will have lots of fun at the NBA Fit/ WNBA Fit Dribble, Dish and Swish Competition. It will take place on Saturday, November 5 from 3 PM to 6 PM at the Jamaica YMCA, 89-25 Parsons Blvd, Jamaica, NY. Boys and girls in three separate age divisions (7-8, 9-10, and 11-12) compete against each other in a basketball skills course which challenges participants to dribble, pass, and shoot accurately and as quickly as possible. Possession of drugs in New York can get you up to 25 years in prison. This scumbag cop PLANTS drugs on innocent people and he'll get off with 2-4 yrs while actually serving much much less of his sentence because of preferrencial treatment.

This is exactly the type of hypocrisy in the justice system that the 99% is so outraged about.

When you comment on someone's post, please try to think what you are doing.
Especially when it's a celebrity or a high profile user with tons of followers:

When people are trying to make intelligent conversation on post threads, please don't go and spam trying to sell your wares or ideas if they are not relevant to that post. You'll get blocked very fast and reported to the bargain.

When +Tom Anderson writes a thoughtful and long post about something but adds a funny picture, you can just +1 the post without making a "LOL" or "Funny" comment, to show you appreciate.
Why? Because the maximum replies to a thread is 500 and if the comments consist of 400 x LOL there is not much space for... more »

Hi, I'm +Matt Steiner, I lead the engineering team for Google+ Photos. Google+ Photos is a great way to share your favorite memories with your different circles. But sometimes you want to limit how your photos are shared. That's why today we're rolling out the ability to lock an album, which prevents others from resharing it.

You can lock an album from two places -- your Photos page, or album posts in the Stream -- and when you do a few things happen:

- Viewers won't be able to +mention new people
- Photo tags by viewers won’t expand who can see your album
- All of your posts about your album will also be locked

To lock an album from your Photos page:

1. Click Your albums
2. Click on the album
3. Click on who can currently view the album (e.g. Limited)
4. Check the Lock this album box
