Ok... Y'all wanna see something so darn cute??? We were having kitty races with the kittens that my mom is fostering. They are almost 4wks old and this was their first time outside playing. =).

I have used my camera to help the local shelter lately by promoting the animals versus my normal nature photography. Along with the normal, kids running me crazy, this is where I have been during my absence on G+. These animals have been through so much, it makes my heart ache. Pictured here is Odin ( I choose this name over plankton and cyclops by silly kids) due to the strength he had to endure in his past. He is so sweet. =)

I wanted to apologize for my absence lately... I do miss and <3 my friends and photo community here!!! 

I have had a lot going on and photography had to be put aside for the time being.  I hope to slowly catch up with everyone, I know I have missed a bunch!! =)

Knowing that there was no way to grasp the entire book into a movie, I finally got a chance to watch Anna Karenina and was really impressed with the style in which it was produced. (Style not content) Anyone else enjoy it?

I have to admit... Levin and Kitty are my favorite characters in the book and movie.

Working with Shelters and animal rescue groups can be so rewarding.  They come from all different situations (unfortunately not always good) but seem to show so much love. The only downfall is I can't adopt them all but happy to say some did find furever homes this past weekend!! =) 

If you are looking for unconditional love... Please check with your local Shelter/Rescue group and adopt.  =)

Can you delete or get rid of all the invites that don't interest you?

Week #53 of the #2012project52 and the LAST shot for this project is ~ Christmas ~

I took way too many pictures at Christmas. It was a tough decision between this and him at the top of a destroyed Christmas Tree but Santa Kitty won the spot!! =D

I must admit this was an amazing project to do. WIGGLE MY WAY UP

Desert elephant wiggles his way up to the tree branches :) 

The desert elephants face the same problems like all other elephants on earth!
Space is limited, conflicts with humans...etc. In short: THREATENED
