So tired of all the comments over the web about why we don't have enough storm shelters..

Due to geological limitations we are unable to have storm shelters in many places in Oklahoma (water table, bedrock). So instead many many of us build concrete rooms into our homes.  Unfortunately a concrete room will not help you in the event of a F4/F5 tornado.  Have you seen the pictures of twisted concrete and metal?  Nothing will save you from a F4/F5 tornado but being underground thus we are back to our original problem of geological limitations.. Do you really think people wouldn't  build storm shelters if they could!??!
