                 First Person Walk over Niagara Falls

American Stuntman Nik Wallenda became the first person to walk across Niagara Falls on a tightrope on 15 June 2012.
Wallenda took more than 25 minutes to complete his 1800-feet long precarious journey.
No person in the past 100 years has accomplished this daredevilry act.
Wallenda started the walk from the U.S. side of the falls and finished it to the Canadian side.

Mark A. Nelson is an artist whose work has appeared in role-playing games and comic books.

Mark Nelson has continued to produce interior illustrations for many Dungeons & Dragons books and Dragon magazine since 1985.
He has also produced artwork for other games including Villains and Vigilantes (Fantasy Games Unlimited), Earthdawn and Shadowrun (FASA), and Orpheus (White Wolf), and illustrated cards for the Magic: The Gathering collectible card game.
Nelson also taught at Northern Illinois University for 20 years.
One of his students was Tom Baxa.
Nelson’s artwork has also appeared in comic books and computer games.
His comic book work includes the series Aliens.
He contributed to the magazine Hero Illustrated.

I stumbled across this huge rare collection of pictures. It's almost surreal going through them and realizing that most of these very famous people are not among us anymore :(

Menschen, deren äußeres Erscheinungsbild gemäß etablierter Klischees nicht mit ihrem genetischen Geschlecht übereinstimmt - Transvestiten, Transsexuelle, etc. - werden in Canada nur noch dann in ein Flugzeug gelassen, wenn ihre Gender-Präferenz im Pass eingetragen ist - was bei den meisten während eines großen Teils ihres Lebens nicht der Fall sein dürfte.

I'm trying to find out about where to get and what I need to start brewing kombucha and/or kefir in the UK. Which one is best to start with and where do I get equipment and scoby etc?

WANT TO JOIN A PHOTO CRITIQUING GROUP ON G+?

Soon after Google+ first launched, I created a photo critiquing group called "Behind the Lens: Photo Critique". It grew in size to around 2500 people before it became unmanageable as a closed group. Well the group is now PUBLIC. In order to participate, you have to add the BTL Photo Critiquing Group to your circles and then use the #BTLcritique hashtag on any SINGLE image you would like feedback on. You however are expected to help others by giving them feedback as well.

Please read ALL of the rules found on the About section of the +Behind the Lens: Photo Critique Group page. EVERYONE IS WELCOME. This is not for just Professionals.

Almost 2 years ago on a whim I signed up for a Weekend Course with More to Life. I didn't know what to expect but, what I got was more than I could of imagined. The tools I learned on this course helped me to change my life.

I gave myself the opportunity to make real choices about how I want to live my life, not always easy but I feel a hell of a lot better about myself now.

If you are interested in learning how to get the most out of your life and think this may be of interest to you. They are having an introductory evening which is free, where you get the chance to talk to people who have taken the course, find out a bit more about what happens and see what they have got for their lives since taking the course. There is also free wine and cheese :)
