CENSORSHIP...............
Now, before you all go berserk on me, considering that my photographic style hasn't included anything like this before, it is important that you know that this beautiful image is NOT mine, but it belongs to fellow G+ user +Jorunn Gudlaugsdottir. The reason why I am posting this here is that this awesome image has been blocked by Google plus most probably after some idiot has reported it and I dont think that this is right. I dont see anything offensive, let alone pornographic, in this work by Jorunn. I actually considered it the best image I have see in a long while and as I said already in Jorunn's post, before the image got blocked, I particularly like the light/shadows play that divides the frame in two vertical zones. Anyone that follows me and thinks that this image is offensive is free of uncircle me right now..........

Based on what logic, does G+ let lots of stupid pages full of hideous shots of girls in thongs and micro-bikini still exist here, and instead this got deleted??
If you, like me, think that this is not pornography but photographic art and want to support my decision to go against G+'s decision, please share this as much as you can. +Jorunn Gudlaugsdottir was obvioulsy informed of what I was going to do and she is happy if you reshare this.
Peace out my friends :))___

I often post ads on Craigslist and invariably always check out the Rants and Raves category for a good laugh at what could be some local humor.
The photographer was not mentioned but traced this back to a site called mediapickle.me. So I offer up what was labeled Beer Goggles.

Good Stuff

The Johnny Cash Project

If you have never seen this then its a good a time as ever to watch, over 250,000 people each took a frame of the video of "Ain't No Grave Can Hold My Body Down" by the legendary Johnny Cash and worked on it, then the video was put back together using the reworked frames, I have always loved this and I think it goes to show what can be done when artists get together, wonderful stuff.___Good Stuff

Book Giveaway!!

Over the last several days the number of people including me in their circles has grown like crazy! I now find myself nearing the 10,000 mark - I'm both honored and humbled by this, and am overwhelmed at all the support and encouragement that the G+ community offers.

I'd like to offer my thanks and appreciation by giving away two copies of "West Virginia Waterfalls: The New River Gorge", the award winning book I coauthored. The coffee-table size book has over 100 full color images of waterfalls in the New River Gorge region of West Virginia. Included in the book is a pullout black and white hiking guide w/ maps, directions, difficulty ratings and GPS coordinates for each waterfall.

One copy will go to the 10,000th person who adds me to their circles, and one copy chosen through random.org to one of you who shares this message. I will... more »

The first beneficiary of compassion is always oneself. When compassion, or warmheartedness, arises in us and our focus shifts away from our own narrow self-interest, it is as if we open an inner door. It reduces fear, boosts confidence and brings us inner strength. By reducing distrust, it opens us to others and brings us a sense of connection to others, and sense of purpose and meaning in life.
