Are our future liquid structures becoming socialstructed? Many of us talk about organizations melting away into tribes or hives of individuals who come together to "make something" and build reputation and socio-identity as a by product. Is this the economy engine vision of the near future?
The Institute of the Future's Marina Gorbis brand new book is an optimistic view of how we will shape ourselves and our society. I have only listened to her interview, thus far and I believe many of us will have the skills to join in the flow of liquid work. But we also must take on the work of imparting the skills to live in such a sociostructured economy - it won't happen organically.
