It's been a hectic couple of months, but this weekend I finally have time to sit down and get some new picture ideas on paper! The closest thing to creative work I've been lately is redesigning my web site to adapt to different screen sizes. This is called "responsive" web design and it was really fun to play around with. Check it out on www.ingberg.com

Well, after three years my ”Reality Rearranged” series is finally finished. Now I’m working on a book and hopefully an exhibition or two. This series was my first try at surrealism and it has evolved and changed a lot as I have developed my skills and vision. After so much time spent on these images it feels good to take the next step with a new series of pictures.

Sorry for my inactivity here, but I've spent the last week in Shanghai, and the Internet connection was a bit "limited". Anyways, here are some instagram shots from the trip.

I just found this website with lots of high res historical pictures, and since I'm very fascinated by old photographs this is pure gold.

Today my goal is to be creative in different ways than normal (I call it dsds, do something different Saturday). So far I’ve been having a blast, and already made two new friends =) Now I’m off to Stockholm to try and create some instagram magic. I hope you too are having a great weekend!

Something different
Last week I got a gig photographing a local gravel pit for a brochure and web site. You might think that this sounds kind of like…ehm, not the most exiting photo shoot. At least I did.
But boy, was I wrong. Turns out these places are really photogenic! Here's one of the pictures.

It's been a while since I posted something new. I have not been able to get much creative work done the last couple of weeks. Sometimes you have to prioritize living over working =)
Anyways, here's a new picture. I wrote down this idea and took the source pictures a long time ago, and today I found some time to put it all together.

This one I call “Well” and it is a remake of one of my older pictures. I really liked the idea, but felt it needed a better presentation. The original one was in landscape format, and this way I think it’s more concentrated. I also re-worked light and details. Hope you like it!

I took a photo of this subway entrance last summer in New York, and have since been trying to figure out a way to use it in one of my montages. Finally last week I had an idea and went for this less is more approach, which kind of focuses on what you don’t see in the picture.

Friday!
It's Friday, and I am in an exceptional good mood, so instead of doing any actual work, I made this instead, just for fun. I have not decided a name for it, but I feel it deserves one. Any suggestions are welcome =)

Hi guys!
I hope you are having a good day. Here the sun is shining, the birds are singing and the snow is melting.
This is a link to a short blog post I wrote today about how I use feather in Photoshop to achieve natural looking edges in my montages.

Over the years I’ve built quite the little collection of old cameras.
This weekend I have tested my Polaroid for the first time with the impossible project PX 680Color Shade and I am totally in love with the process and the fact that I get an instant actual physical image.
The only downside is that the film is fantastically expensive. I’ve also managed to locate some gear for developing 35mm film and thought it’s about time I started using all these cameras. So today I ordered a couple of rolls of Tri-X, but I’m really quite clueless when it comes to this analogue stuff, have not been shooting analogue for 15 years or so.
Do you have a favourite black and white film?

This just arrived in the mail together with a Fish-Eye lens for my iPhone and a Holga lens for my Canon DSLR. It's going to be an awesome weekend!
