Sicherheit bei Kreditkartenzahlungen dank "SecureCode"? Not!

Ich staune schon seit vielen Jahren darüber, wie unsinnig die Sicherheitskonzepte der Kreditkartenfirmen sind. Bei der +insign gmbh war ich immer dafür, in E-Commerce-Projekten die Eingabe der Kreditkartendaten im Zahlungsfenster des Payment Service Providers, z.B. Datatrans, aufzurufen. Warum? Weil dadurch sichergestellt ist, dass der Shopbetreiber die Kreditkarteninfos technisch gar nie sehen kann.

Der Trend geht aber in die Richtung, dass alle Shops die CC-Daten direkt auf ihrer Seite annehmen wollen. Dabei müssen sie sich "verpflichten, die Kartendaten nicht zu speichern". Grossartig, aber was ist, wenn die Site des Shops gehackt wird? Die CC-Daten dann abzufangen und weiterzuleiten ist ein Kinderspiel. Today we invented a new complexity metric. It is called "Patterns per Request" (or PPR as a TLA), sounds great, doesn't it? I'm sure we can develop a whole ecosystem of conferences, classes and certificates (or CCC) around it.
So what is PPR all about? It is about a simple question: In your web-application: how many software development patters does a request cross? 5? 10? 20?

We have not decided yet if it is good or bad if you have many patterns but i'm confident that we will find out. Enterprise Programming is calling.

A 75-year-old Gennai Yanagisawa invented the smallest one-man helicopter - available for self assembly (30-40 hours) through their web site: http://bit.ly/A3UH0D

The helicopter has two identical rotors that turn in opposite directions making the need for a tail rotor obsolete. Each rotor counteracts the others torque keeping the helicopter free of any unwanted spin.
It has four twin cylinder engines and can remain in the air even if two of the engines of malfunction. However, they have attached a parachute above the mast just in case...
