The anechoic chamber is located at Orfield Laboratory in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was designed for testing out hearing aid equipment. To make sure no outside noises are present, the chamber is hidden behind two vault doors and has sound-deadening wedges covering all of the flat surfaces. Rather than sound bouncing off the walls, ceiling, and floor like a traditional room, the sound is absorbed.

Every time I go outside buying clothes, I ask myself if I have lost touch with reality or the whole world really thinks the clothes of the 80s pop and mid-90 rave era were cool and simply have to be combined with Hosenträger/suspenders and/or leggings in neon colors and/or camouflage patterns.

I bet it looks really awesome when you are on drugs though. I won't find out either way.

I'm proud to present you Black Menu version 4.0

You can now make Black Menu your Black Menu.
Rearrange the menu by dragging and dropping items just like in the google+ navbar. You can also add and remove services by dragging them to or from the more page.

I've also added some new pages, a chrome apps page, which is able to launch your chrome hosted and packaged apps.
A new books page, where you can quickly search books from Google Books.
I've also added an url shortener page. THhis page is able to turn every long url into a goo.gl url. When you open Black Menu, it will automatically insert the current url you were viewing into the searchbox.
The long list of google shortcuts which were previously in the more page, are now moved to a new "shortcuts" page.

10 minutes recording of daily life in Afghanistan

Today on my way back to home from Rotary meeting ( Regarding rotary i will write in a separate post that what i do)  i decided to record my 10 minutes drive of different things i see. In a country life Afghanistan you can see thousands of cases like these in a day. 
No strategic plan by government
Houses, streets, cemeteries and the whole city is not designed based on a Master plan, the cities are getting bigger and bigger without any Master plan. It create traffic issues that you will see in pictures below.

It is always entertaining to see people calling others out on complaining about first world problems.

'cause, you know, these people never complained about someone using up all hot water in the morning or blocking the bathroom, someone being late for a few minutes, forgetting a birthday, about a cold meal served in a restaurant, about missing a train, a train being late... The list is endless. So before people open their mouths, they should take a gooooood look at themselves first ;)

The discontinuation of a whole bunch of touch apps by Adobe.
Admittedly, some of the Android apps didn't get much love by Adobe anyway... some were promising, but limited in both performance and capabilities. Makes me sad. Spent a bunch of bucks on those. Well...

My two-week review of Google Glass: it all depends on the price

This week I gave five speeches while wearing it.
I passed through airports four times (two more in a couple of hours).
I let hundreds of people try my Google Glass.
I have barely taken it off since getting it other than to sleep.

Here's my review after having Google Glass for two weeks:

1. I will never live a day of my life from now on without it (or a competitor). It's that significant. 
2. The success of this totally depends on price. Each audience I asked at the end of my presentations "who would buy this?" As the price got down to $200 literally every hand went up. At $500 a few hands went up. This was consistent, whether talking with students, or more mainstream, older audiences.
