#Google  is doing such a great job that I find myself shifting away from more and more #Apple  services towards #Google  services. It seems to be a personal trend. Interested if that will happen with #Facebook  and +Google+ as well.

One of the most important questions of the future of filmmaking and especially in connection with its business business models will be our perspective on copying and remixing.

What do you think is an appropriate approach? Raising awareness, educating the audience for the products value and regulating the market through laws or changing perspective and finding a business model that charges for what can't be copied e.g. context not content as Kevin Kelly suggests?

Anti-cancer Virus Could be Thrown Out Because There's No Profit

This is an amazing story and important crowd funding campaign. Apparently a team of Swedish researchers have developed an anti-cancer virus that may be effective in treating neuroendocrine tumors in humans -- the same type of tumor that lead to Steve Jobs' death.

However, since the researchers openly published their results and details of the virus -- they literally Open Sourced their data. Of course, since they did this, big pharma is not interested in funding the project, in funding the human clinical trials, because there will be little if any profit. So, the virus sits in a freezer and will eventually be thrown out -- although that claim seems a little sensational.

I've only briefly skimmed the project's website (http://icancer.org.uk) to see if it is a scam. It appears to be legit.... more »

This article raises some very interesting questions about whether #ChristopherNolan  tried to invoke a political message with #TheDarkKnightRises . I was actually thinking about this when I watched the movie. Curious if #WarnerBros  has anything to do with it. What do you think?
