Thanks to Rick Scott and our mindless state gov, as of July 1 it will become illegal to possess, distribute, sell, transport, or deliver ANY type of smoking device in Florida. If you haven't registered to vote you better get moving if you want to be heard in the primaries. As of now, there will not be a Democratic primary but democrats can still be heard in the republican primary.

Note: In some states with closed primaries you MUST register republican to vote but you can simply change it right back if you want!

40 years ago today Nixon caved to pressure from the IMF and severed the tie between gold and the dollar (what was left of the gold standard). Ironically he claimed this would curb inflation and strengthen the dollar. The opposite happened. One dollar today has the same purchasing power as only .18 cents on the day he gave this address.

wow - amazing to hear him predict all of these things so accurately long before they ever happened. If we had only listened.

It's even more amazing to me that a few people still try to marginalize him. Fortunately it's not really working anymore now that people are starting to research these things on the internet for themselves instead of just listening to the media. The internet is truly changing the world.
