This looks pretty cool. Trying to make the creation of great linux games easier, with a lot of built-in steam related stuff to make working with steam super easy. Awesome.
And really, anything that +Annika O'Brien is working on has to be pretty good, right?

I'm not saying Mark of the Ninja is coming to #Linux but it's 75% off. Just saying.

Ok, so I got this game on kinda a whim, figuring I'd muck about for a few minutes and probably end up annoyed with it, but trying to give it a chance, because I've heard a couple people mention that was interesting.
It than proceeded to eat a large chunk of my night.
Seriously addictive stuff. So far it's had a REALLY good balance of just hard enough to get me scratching my head a bit and almost ready to put it down, or JUST put it down, and think of something else to try that ends up working.
It's pretty great. Like... as a game in general, not "good mobile game", but damn fine game over all.
Certainly more fun so far than the other game I got today, Battlefield 3. heh.

+Michael Sautter mentioned this in a comment thread earlier, and I hadn't heard out it, but so far it's pretty interesting.
It add PGP/GPG encryption/decryption to webmail services like gmail/yahoo/etc
All the keys seem to be stored locally, and it seems like they're going pretty out of their way to keep things as secure as possible (I just started poking at it mind you, so no promises just yet...).
It's a bit limited, since it doesn't do signing right now, but still pretty useful if you use gmail or something and want to use encrypted email.
If you want to send me encrypted email, my public key is in my G+ profile :)

Antichamber is on sale for $10 right now on steam.
If you like using the gooey thing between your ears, you need this game. It's MAD interesting.

I think we need this new word.
"Owkward" - so awkward, it hurts.
E.g. Look at this guy, trying to create a meme, like that. Ow. That's owkward, man.

So, none of the live viewers mentioned that google wasn't doing the video switching for some reason, so this week is apparently the Brad show for most of it, so sorry about having to look at my ugly mug so damn much... but oh well!
Episode 22! Was a blast as usual. Basically lots of E3 stuff, and other random bits of chaos. Yup.

This sounds pretty out there... but it sure is interesting... internet for everyone (as in, on Earth... everyone), via balloon based networking...
I'd have assumed this was a joke if it was early April, but it seems pretty official... odd, but official.

Onion Pi

http://www.adafruit.com/products/1406/
Feel like someone is snooping on you? Browse anonymously anywhere you go with the Onion Pi Tor proxy. This is fun weekend project that uses a Raspberry Pi, a USB WiFi adapter and Ethernet cable to create a small, low-power and portable privacy Pi.
Using it is easy-as-pie. First, plug the Ethernet cable into any Internet provider in your home, work, hotel or conference/event. Next, power up the Pi with the micro USB cable to your laptop or to the wall adapter. The Pi will boot up and create a new secure wireless access point called Onion Pi. Connecting to that access point will automatically route any web browsing from your computer through the anonymizing Tor network.

Ready for tomorrow night's recording? This week should be pretty fun.
There was a tiny, obscure gaming convention, you probably haven't heard of it, called E3. We'll be talking a bunch about that.
We may also talk about other stuff, who knows. As a bonus, we scored some more Marvel Digital Comic codes from our buddy
+Andy Wood of +GamersCircle Comics, so there's that!
9:30pm EST (or so. I mean it's not like any of us can tell time or anything). What else could you have planned on a Saturday night? Nothing? That's what I thought!

I've seen a few episodes of his show, Brain Games, and it's interesting, if a bit simplistic and gimmicky (it would have had to impress some TV execs, after all), but this dude seems like an interesting fellow. Didn't know about his new youtube channel, but I'll definitely check it out.

As much as I enjoyed Bioshock Infinite (which was a LOT), this video describes the few problems I had with it so perfectly that it's as if they extracted it from my brain.

Playing with spotify a bit, and stumbled on this from an old playlist I had made a couple years back. I hate sharing spotify links, since not everyone can listen, but they have some of their stuff up on Myspace, so yay!
I have no idea how to describe it, but it's awesome, and it's a friend of mine, so... uh... listen to it!

GUYS. No. Just no. STAHP. Why would you do that to such a glorious example of the best music that humanity has to offer... oh right, you're evil aliens. I guess makes sense.
Now I have to listen to the original on repeat for a while to clear their out of my brain.

It occurs to me that I haven't actually finished Saints Row 3, or even played it all that much.
I think it's time to start fixing that...

So after watching the teaser for Mirror's Edge 2, I got the urge to reinstall the first one. Looks pretty damn shiny still. May have to go for a "no kill" run to keep things interesting though, it's a bit linear once you've run through it a couple times...

Finally playing XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Couldn't decide on a naming scheme for my soldiers, so I'm going down the list of nicknames for Gus on Psych. That should do just fine I think. :D

Seriously u guise. This game is awesome. This vid doesn't even get into the hilarious dialogue between missions. It's just damn good stuff, and if you've been watching my stream over the last couple days, you may have noticed that it's got some of the greatest achievements ever.

We (by which I mean some co-workers, since I had nothing to do with this at all) are in the news again. Fun stuff.

So.... PS4. Used games, and lending games, totally fine, and no internet connection needed, not evening a ping every 24 hours. basically DIRECT response to the X-bone. heh

If you're into game development at all, these dev logs from the guy who made Gunpoint (which is awesome, and you need to play it right now!), are pretty great.
The newest one is all about the last few days since the game launched, and trying to deal with bugs and and the politics of refunds via steam. This dude kicks ass imo. First game release, basically made the thing on his own over 3 years, and is running around like mad trying to fix problems that a TINY fraction of people are having, and feeling bad that he can't do it any faster.
This is what makes indie devs awesome. They actually give a shit about the people playing their game.
Looks like he's on G+ too. He needs WAY more followers though -> +Tom Francis

Did you miss this weekend's episode of Game Sammich? In case you did, here ya go!
Special guest +Andy Wood joins us for around an hour of chattin' 'bout video games and such, and did more prep work than anyone else on the show has ever done combined. It's pretty epic. There are props. Literal, physical PROPS!
Seriously, you'll want to see this.

So I've watched all 4 seasons of Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin' over the course of the last few days...
Damn find stuff. Highly suggest it if you're into game stuff at all. Hilarious, and often oddly insightful.

Playing with some video capture/streaming stuff, and have it running semi-decently. My upstream bandwidth is sadly a bit lacking, so it's not amazing, but it seems to work.
May try to stream something later. Can't promise it'll look amazing, but we shall see!

Ok hive-mind... is actually paying for xsplit worth the extra features and supposedly better game capture for directx games? Is there a better way to stream games? Suggestions welcome!
