Die Pressekonferenz beginnt um 10:00 Uhr, auf http://www.aec.at/prix kann man sie via Google Hangout on Air verfolgen. Auf Twitter wird #prix13 als Hashtag verwendet, wenn Sie Fragen haben, einfach twittern.

On Thursday, May 16th, we are going to announce the winners of Prix Ars Electronica 2013. Von 1. bis 4. März nimmt das Ars Electronica Center an Culture Shutdown teil, einer Initiative, an der sich weltweit über 160 Kulturinstitutionen beteiligen und darauf hinweisen möchten, dass der Zugang zu Kulturgütern in vielen Teilen der Welt bei weitem keine Selbstverständlichkeit ist.

Bei der neuen Ausstellung "Kinder erleben Technik" haben 4- bis 8-Jährige genug Zeit, um naturwissenschaftliche Phänomene und technische Anwendungen spielerisch zu erkunden. Das Ars Electronica Center bekommt bald ein Soundlab. Einerseits kann man sich dort austoben und Klangwolkenminiaturen basteln (http://www.aec.at/klangwolke/participate/soundcloudminiatures/), andererseits gibts Klanginstallationen zu entdecken. So sieht auf jeden Fall mal der Raum in seinem Rohzustand aus. Am 17.Mai gehts dann los.

The Ars Electronica Center is going to have a Soundlab. You can build your Soundcloudminiatures in it (http://www.aec.at/klangwolke/en/participate/soundcloudminiatures/) or enjoy various soundinstallation. This is part of the room in it's current stage, the doors open on May, 17th.
