Lotus Carroll1,774,218This is the Event for our September 2013 Self Portrait Challenge: A Great Cell Phone Photo. Just because you use a cell phone doesn't mean your self portrait has to be of the "facebook style" mobile or reflection variety. That little guy has a camera inside it, so treat it like one! Here is where you enter your ONE Self Portrait using only a cell phone to capture and process (no computer software post processing!). Your photo must have been captured this month. This Event remains open until 11:59 CST September 30th, so you have until then to create and enter your best photo from this month. Please read all rules (scroll down). It makes a huge difference! Is there junk in the room behind you? If yes, it's not a good place to shoot. ETC. *DO NOT just slap a filter or cheesy effect on and call it a day - take the time to try different edits and pay attention to the elements of your photo.  *DO NOT point your phone at a mirror and take a reflection photo where we can see your phone. *DO NOT have your arms in the photo as you're holding the phone out in front of or above you. *DO NOT duckface. *DO NOT showcase your cleavage as the main subject. *Here's a list of Photo Apps you can try out:* Snapseed VSCOcam Retouch (cloning tool!) Let There Be Light (Again)

As you may or may have not noticed, I have been absent from Google+ for a month or so. The short explanation to that is health problems. The long one, I'll keep to myself for now. :)

Knowing that, how ever long and dark a tunnel is, there's always light at the end of it. That simple piece of knowledge gives the human species hope and the will to fight against all odds. Occasionally we even win. ;)

Have a great week ahead everybody! It's nice to "see" you all again... :)

A stack of papers sitting here
But how do I express my fear?
With ravens, crows, and prey of night?
With demons who all feed on fright?
But they are comfort not a dread
Not what to escape from in my head
My thoughts my doubts my love of you
Please replace these with menacing ghouls
Obsession with order... more »

Sailing Into The Sunset

If you live a life of make-believe, your life isn't worth anything until you do something that does challenge your reality. And to me, sailing the open ocean is a real challenge, because it's life or death.

In The Early Morning Light

In the early morning light
I see the stars in your eyes
The moon is leaving with the night
and the sun is returning to the skies

I feel the rhythm of your heartbeat
I still see your smile in the distance
The dream is slowly fading away
Light fighting down my resistance

What if life could be different
in the early morning light
What if our love could be real
in the early morning light

The moon has left the heavens
and the stars are becoming fainter
The dream is fading away with the night
in the early morning light

In the early morning light...

Credits Where Credits Are Due

As most of you who have followed me through the years here on Google+, you know how I feel about not giving credit where credits are due.

Lately I have violated my own rules when doing my composites and people who have taken some of the original photographs which I have used have not been properly credited for their work, thus leaving the impression that I have both taken the pictures and put together the composites.

Some of you also know that I am fighting a serious illness since a few years back, even though I am not going to use that as an excuse. I have mentioned that a few times here on Google+ and I thank you for all your concern. However, as I mentioned before, that's not an excuse, even though it affects my brain.

I have been fighting copyright violation here and elsewhere for years and even started groups here on Google+ as well as having helped others to claim their rights. Now I stand before you and must admit to having missed to credit others in my own work! Not all the time, of course, but enough times for me feeling that I need to write this post. No matter that I only have use STOCK pictures as mentioned openly in my bio here on Google+ and in many of my pictures here.

This is what I am going to do:

I hereby APOLOGiZE publicly to those who I have not credited and if you find that I have used some element in my pictures that belongs to you and I have not credited you properly, leave me a note and I will credit you or, if you wish, take the picture down.

I will check my feed as soon as I can and delete/credit the pictures affected as best as I can. Original photographers deserve to be credited as I wish to be credited when people use my stock photography.

Again, dear fellow artists, I sincerely apologize in this open manner to you who have been affected by my neglect. I also apologize to all of my followers who might have been mislead in some cases. You all have my deepest respect and I hope that you will show me a bit of understanding in my moment of shame.

With all the best regards,

Peter

Somewhere In The Distance

I lay in my bed and think about you
I love you so much I don't know what to do
I feel your warmth at my side
The pain in my heart moves to my eyes
So far away yet always so near
You are the reason I am still here.

I await the times when we can talk
I await the times we can finally hold hands and walk
To feel you for real... so close to me
The happiest person in the world is what you would make me.

––Janna Rutty

Wild

“We need the tonic of wildness...At the same time that we are earnest to explore and learn all things, we require that all things be mysterious and unexplorable, that land and sea be indefinitely wild, unsurveyed and unfathomed by us because unfathomable. We can never have enough of nature.”

Having a work overload right now, I just want to let you all know that I appreciate your emails (and your concerns) and that I will be more active here again in the weeks to come...

I dedicate these beautiful sunrises and sunsets to YOU!

Red is the feeling of love
Red is the passionate color
Red is the color that brings my love to me

Another Day Says Goodbye...

The last rays of the sun caresses my face and I think of the day that is soon gone. I watch the calmness of the ocean, the colors of the sky, the shapes of the clouds. Soon darkness will descend and bring the night to me but still I have time to view nature in the mirror of water displaying her from its most marvellous side. "How I long for you to rise again!", I whisper to the glowing smiling sun, "It's not goodbye, It's until we meet again...".

Have a great day everybody! Meeting you here in my feed ever so often is a privilege and joy to me... :)

Longing

Come to me in my dreams, and then
By day I shall be well again!
For so the night will more than pay
The hopeless longing of the day.

Come, as thou cam'st a thousand times,
A messenger from radiant climes,
And smile on thy new world, and be
As kind to others as to me!

Or, as thou never cam'st in sooth,
Come now, and let me dream it truth,
And part my hair, and kiss my brow,
And say, My love why sufferest thou?

Come to me in my dreams, and then
By day I shall be well again!
For so the night will more than pay
The hopeless longing of the day.

To See...

Do you see what I see?
Do you see what I want you to see?
Do you see a reflection of what is or what is not?
What do you see?
What do you feel?
Do you see light or darkness?
Do you see the trees or the sky?
Do you see the shadows of what is or what is not?
What do you see?
What do you feel?
To see is to feel...
To see is to live...
To see...

A Blue Eye

OK, I have a blue eye... I know, I know, I must open up my Facebook page. My publisher wants that (nag, nag), my (few) friends wants that, strangers on the street asks me to, and God knows, a few fans have mentioned something along those lines as well.

So, as of tonight I will set my Facebook account to public and I will be accepting friend requests (from foes as well) so if you feel like connecting with me there, here's the url:

http://www.facebook.com/peteymorf

I look forward to getting to know a few of you more from the more private side.

Have a great Friday evening and see you on Facebook.

Silence

I have known the silence of the stars and of the sea,
And the silence of the city when it pauses,
And the silence of a man and a maid,
And the silence of the sick
When their eyes roam about the room.
And I ask: For the depths,
Of what use is language?
A beast of the field moans a few times
When death takes its young.
And we are voiceless in the presence of realities --
We cannot speak.

There's no place like home, I think. Even though I feel at home in so many places around the world, home is home. In this picture you see my lil' house in Sweden. I shot it with my Sony Xperia 2 the other morning. It feels so good to wake up to a wonderful sunrise, don't you agree..? All I need is a cup of coffee (remember? ;))and this view. The cold air, the snow and the wild winds dancing in the fields makes me feel so alive...

Coffee Vortex

Having that first cup of coffee early in the morning really sucks me into a work mood vortex. You all know (at least if you drink coffee) that bitter taste of that hot seductive (I did NOT say addictive...:)) liquid sweetness. I think there's something erotic about it as well. Before you go WTF!, let me explain... ;) It sort of gets your body going, maybe not in the way a woman does, but you know... It tickles your stomach and boosts your whatever they are called... :)

Well, enough ramblings from me... have a great Tuesday evening (or day) where ever you may be...

Cheers!

Life

When the colors of the summer fade away
to become memories of yesterday
When the stream of the river feels colder
and the silhouettes of the clouds seem bolder
I still feel your body close to me
I still see your smile when I close my eyes

When the autumn leaves become covered with snow
so white, whispering; it's time to let go
When the landscape turns abstract and gray
and the cold howling winter winds go astray
I still see the beauty in your eyes
That's when I feel how much I miss you

Long Distance Love

To love at a distance can be torturous and very difficult, as you always desire closeness to your beloved. But closeness and distance are not only physical definitions of space but also how we understand our heart. So while the physical distance between us may be great, that space may always be small within the heart. Holding close to the ones we love and trusting in that steadfastness can calm our hearts and soothe our minds no matter how far the physical distance between us. While loving another from far away may be difficult, faith in our love may keep us strong.

Have a wonderful week everybody! :)

After The Storm

Drenching rains, no shape nor form
Howling winds, skies midnight black
Lightning striking, a powerful storm
Our little haven, now under attack
Plans for our moonlit stroll are dashed
No lights, no music, just you and me
Squeezing me tighter with every flash
Letting our two longing hearts be free
Waiting out the storm, we cuddle by the fire
Enjoying the crackling embers until it's done
Soft touches, slow kisses, both showing desire
Two kindred spirits, coming together as one

Let There Be Light (Again)

But they are comfort not a dread
Not what to escape from in my head
My thoughts my doubts my love of you
Please replace these with menacing ghouls
Obsession with order the binge and the purge
Oh let me exist please exist in these words
I’ll enter the realm filled with fantasy dreams
No more possessions consistently clean
No future to fear and no past to resent
Only existing and know the present
No memories piercing fear into my soul
Or to present others with all of my goals
No editing, loathing past works
I have made No worries of when I will enter my grave
It’s of no thought to you to judge me on my words
If I can convince this they’ll enter the world
But after the earth has become dust and grain
I don’t mind if I die if I live through my brain
The words are important I hope to believe
I hope they’ll be read and I hope they’ll be grieved
But am I important? Alas I am not.
A scientist, leader, artist, astronaut
I hope and I pray that after I die
You’ll associate me with the darkest of night
With the demons who thrive and feed on fright
With the ravens and crows and the prey of night

Ode To The Setting Sun

If with exultant tread
Thou foot the Eastern sea,
Or like a golden bee
Sting the West to angry red,
Thou dost image, thou dost follow
That King-Maker of Creation,
Who, ere Hellas hailed Apollo,
Gave thee, angel-god, thy station;
Thou art of Him a type memorial.
Like Him thou hang'st in dreadful pomp of blood
Upon thy Western rood;
And His stained brow did veil like thine to night,
Yet lift once more Its light,
And, risen, again departed from our ball,
But when It set on earth arose in Heaven.
Thus hath He unto death His beauty given:
And so of all which form inheriteth
The fall doth pass the rise in worth;
For birth hath in itself the germ of death,
But death hath in itself the germ of birth.
It is the falling acorn buds the tree,
The falling rain that bears... more »

Yet lift once more Its light,
And, risen, again departed from our ball,
But when It set on earth arose in Heaven.
Thus hath He unto death His beauty given:
And so of all which form inheriteth
The fall doth pass the rise in worth;
For birth hath in itself the germ of death,
But death hath in itself the germ of birth.
It is the falling acorn buds the tree,
The falling rain that bears the greenery,
The fern-plants moulder when the ferns arise.
For there is nothing lives but something dies,
And there is nothing dies but something lives.
Till skies be fugitives,
Till Time, the hidden root of change, updries,
Are Birth and Death inseparable on earth;
For they are twain yet one, and Death is Birth.

––Francis Thompson

I hope you will all have a great week ahead! :))

Sailing Into The Sunset

If you live a life of make-believe, your life isn't worth anything until you do something that does challenge your reality. And to me, sailing the open ocean is a real challenge, because it's life or death.

Flight Of Delight

When I look at you
You send shivers
No – sparks.

The air is charged with them
Dense.

I can feel just how much of it
is between us –
(always too much)

And I want more than anything
To cross it –
Wade through the ions
to you.

To only stop when my lips
Meet yours
(the only way I have found
to get rid of the air)
and you take my breath away.

I Went To Our Beach

I saw from the beach, when the morning was shining,
A bark o'er the waters move gloriously on;
I came when the sun o'er that beach was declining,
The bark was still there, but the waters were gone.

And such is the fate of our life's early promise,
So passing the spring-tide of joy we have known;
Each wave that we danced on at morning ebbs from us,
And leaves us, at eve, on the bleak shore alone.

Oh, who would not welcome that moment's returning
When passion first waked a new life through his frame,
And his soul, like the wood that grows precious in burning,
Gave out all its sweets to love's exquisite flame.

Number ONE In The 500px Trending Profiles (Fine Art Category)

I have been on 500px for a little over a year and a half now and noticed a couple of days ago that my Profile was in the number one spot in the Trending Profiles – Fine Art Category and in the 11th spot over all. I feel humbled and want to thank all the Google Plussers who have visited and liked my work there as well.

500px has also worked well for me when it comes down to business. I have sold my work to numerous countries and I feel more inspired than ever to increase my presence  there.

Have a great day everybody and keep up your great efforts! :)

Tip: You might want to read my article over at Pixativity on how to get YOUR picture to the number one page in the 500px Popular Section:

READ THE WHOLE POST BEFORE YOU ASK FOR INCLUSION

The last circle was a great success again and I really like to combine the usual circle sharing with a challenge. Thanks everybody for participating!

Now, let's get down to the PAC info... :)

I have, as you know by now, re-shaped this popular circle to make it even better and more interesting. There are quite a few changes so I recommend you to read the whole post before asking for inclusion.

Two things are very important: 1. You MUST comply EXACTLY by the rules as stated below OR you will NOT be added to the circle. 2. Do NOT use the comments for ANYTHING else than asking for inclusion as stated in this post.

The Pixativity Pro/Amateur Photographer's Circle | November 2014

I will skip the history of the previous circles since everybody knows it by now (if you don't and actually do want to inform yourself, check out any of my earlier circle posts).

One of the new things with the PAC (that is how I refer to this circle) is that I have decided to include themes and a challenge to go with that theme every time I post an announcement post (such as this one). As I then release the circle, I will announce ONE WINNER who will receive a FREE spot (value USD 9,95, not to mention all the extra invaluable exposure that comes with that) in the Pixativity Photographer's Directory here: http://maps.pixativity.com.

This Is How To Do It (a.k.a. The Rules, a.k.a. The Guidelines)

Now, remember that you HAVE to comply with ALL the rules or I will ignore your request. I want that to be as clear as crystal. I put a lot of time and effort into this growing project and I want to keep things as efficient as possible. Please help me by complying with the rules.

1. PLUS & RESHARE this post. You help yourself and your fellow photographers by spreading the word. If the re-share is not to be found in your feed when I compile the circle, I won't add you to it.

2. ADD the  Google+ Page to your circles. Why? Because that is where all additional info will be posted and you need to be able to see the notifications from there when I release the circle. (You need NOT add me, that is fully optional... :))

3. Please ADD A FEW WORDS about the field of photography that you are into when you ask for inclusion. That will help me immensely when I compile the circle.

4. Please TAG a few fellow photographers that you think should have the opportunity to be in the circle as well. Please limit your choice of photographers to a maximum of five persons.

5. Please do NOT add external or internal links to albums, websites, blogs etc. in the comments. This post is neither the right place for advertisement nor for spam. Thanks. I will check your feed anyway, be sure of that. :) The only link I accept is to your theme contest entry if you decide to participate. Not complying with this rule results in your comment being deleted. Multiple offenders will be blocked.

6. Premium & Lifetime Members of the Pixativity Photographer's Directory website are automatically included in the circle. Feel free to reshare this post though. (How to obtain a Premium or Lifetime account to the PPD can be found here: http://maps.pixativity.com/join/).

7. Please do NOT use the comments to thank people who tagged you. Do that in their feed or your own feed. I need all the comment space that there is.

This Month's PAC Challenge Theme

The theme I have chosen is AUTUMN COLORS. You don't have to participate in the theme challenge if you don't want to, just skip to the next section, but if you do, post a link to your entry along with your request for inclusion in the PAC in the comments and I will have a look at your picture. NO pictures from communities! Your entry must be posted publicly in your personal feed. Do NOT post links to the Lightbox View – I know how to view a picture.

Tag you entry with PixativityNovemberChallenge using a # so that everybody can enjoy your beautiful shots. Do NOT use the tag in the comments in this post.

When I release the circle, I will announce the winner, post his/her image here in my feed, on the +Pixativity page, on the +Photoshop Tutorials page  and, of course, on the Pixativity webpage. The winner will receive an ONE YEAR FREE listing in the Pixativity Photographer's Directory.

Please note: Only one entry per month is allowed. You can only enter with your own original work and you must have the full copyright. You may enter an old picture and you agree to that I will post your image on the Pixativity website and the above mentioned feeds if you are one of the winners. You may not enter the challenge alone, it's for circle applicants only.

The Rest

If I do NOT add you to the circle there's always a reason for that.
1) You do not mainly share your own original work in your feed.
2) You are a web marketeer, SEO-specialist etc.
3) I did not like the mix of your feed (yeah, I know, it's a very subjective thing to create circles like this).
4) I just missed your comment of some reason – mistakes happen, I am only human.

Another thing: I cannot add everybody in one circle but be assured that I check ALL feeds and you are always welcome to ask for inclusion in the next edition of the PAC.

How do I know if you added me to the circle?

You don't. You will find out once the circle is being released. Asking me in the comments will render no answer. :)

Release Date

The circle will be released in the beginning of December.

Now, let's make this month's NEW PAC another success story. :) Get on with the resharing.

Cheers!___

In The Distant Past

I am back... :) Life has kept me absent... So, enjoy this poem:

Through the darkness, there came a light
Though so far but yet so bright.
I close my eyes and look deep insight..
I walk this darkness without a fright.

I clutch this image like a precious sight,
The one that sets my heart alight.
I hold that thought and now I write,
With the thought of us on this night.

I travel this road to find affection
I now edge closer and taste perfection.
The darkness evades, I've found protection
I reach this light to build my connection.

My strength has now so briskly grown,
I no longer feel I travel alone.
I continue to proceed on this empty path,
The wait is long but I show no wrath.

I set fourth my travels to meet that day.
I hold my faith and wait these years,
So far I've come, its worth those tears.

I stand, I sit and now I stare,
I look beyond me and see you there.
I've found the light and now I smile,
I've found my strength to crawl this mile.

I accept love like its my treat,
The thought is real, I'm now complete.
I hear sweet voices in my head,
They say my path is clear ahead.

Some just try but yet they fail,
The unconditional love that we prevail.
I had my freedom, I made this choice,
I found my love, I now rejoice.

I never believed I'd find this love,
Like that beautiful star from above.
I questioned love and what I feel
With you I learnt my love is real.

The Winners of the Pixativity PAC September Challenge: TRUE LOVE

Due to a misfortunate error from me, I earlier announced a winner who entered a picture to the challenge that did not belong to him/her. She/he had ripped it off from the web. I apologize for my sloppiness and have decided to announce a new winner and runner ups. I assure you that I will do my best not to commit the same mistake again.

Time to announce the winners of the September PAC challenge (again) but first of all, let me thank everybody for participating. I hard a hard time choosing the winners and it was great fun browsing through all the contest entries. Well done everybody!

The Winners

The winner is +Saji Saju with a picture without a title. Nevertheless it's a great picture with light one could kill for. I really like it. It is TRUE LOVE. Congrats Saji!

Time to share the SEPTEMBER Edition of the PAC. As usual, I have sifted through each and every feed and I can promise a very interesting circle. Wonderful people taking wonderful photos. Add the circle right away! :)

I will announce the theme contest winners in my feed tomorrow.

If you want to be a part of the next PAC, please follow the guidelines as stated below.

Now, remember that you HAVE to comply with ALL the rules or I will ignore your request. I want that to be as clear as crystal. I put a lot of time and effort into this lil' project and I want to keep things as efficient as possible. Please help me by complying with the rules.

1. PLUS & RESHARE this post. You help yourself and your fellow photographers by spreading the word.

2. ADD the  CIRCLE to your circles.

3. Please ADD A FEW WORDS about the field of photography that you are into when you ask for inclusion. That will help me immensely when I compile the next circle.

:) Not complying with this rule results in your comment being deleted.

I need all the comment space that there is for requests.

This Month's Theme

Will be announced in the next Announcement Post.

The next circle will be released end of October.

Now, let's make this month's NEW PAC another success story. :) Get on with the resharing.

Cheers!___

God's Forgotten Land

There's no rain or snow in this forgotten land
Where the evils of man play in the land of sand
Pain and tears of red you will never forget
A maniac is the one who wagered this diabolical bet
Return home with the curse of MacBeth
With each life you've taken you have made your own death
Memories will cause you to weep and to cringe
Hands forever seen with a crimson twinge
All because of a madman crying his lies
Soon you'll be driven to suicide
And with each spent bullet shell
You've saved your place in the pits of hell!
This is my last letter to you
I'm a monster, no longer the man you knew
I'll never be able to forgive from within
And I'm condemned to a life of sin.

In The Early Morning Light

In the early morning light
I see the stars in your eyes
The moon is leaving with the night
and the sun is returning to the skies

I feel the rhythm of your heartbeat
I still see your smile in the distance
The dream is slowly fading away
Light fighting down my resistance

What if life could be different
in the early morning light
What if our love could be real
in the early morning light

The moon has left the heavens
and the stars are becoming fainter
The dream is fading away with the night
in the early morning light

In the early morning light...

Under The Northern Light

When in the twinkling of an eye,
From palpable obscurity
Tumultuous streams of glory gushed,
Ten thousand thousand rainbows rushed
And revelled through the boundless sky,
In jousting, flashing radiancy.
Careering around the welkin's brim
Like bright embattled Seraphim;
Or soaring up to the dome of Night,
Flooding the Milky-way with light;
Or streaming down on the mountain peaks,
On the muirland wastes, and the heather brakes;
On lake and river, on tower and tree,
Showering a sky-born galaxy,
Like a storm of pearls and diamonds driven,
Imbued with the gorgeous hues of heaven!

Pixativity Premium Photoshop Action: Winter Blues

Time again for a Premium Photoshop Action; the Winter Blues. This action lets you transform your pale winter images into stunning pictures with just one click. The action focuses on light and color balance in the blue/purple color range. Any picture will look more mystical after you have applied the Winter Blues action on it. Light will be enhanced and a blue-ish magic tone added to make your picture stand out from the bulk of pale winter images. The action also works wonders with portraits. Your imagination sets the limits.

Fading Dream

I am weary of loving the things that don’t stay.
All loved and trusted, then passing away.
Tired of withering dreams, now all gone.
Yearning and waiting for new dreams to come.

The flowers I love will wither and fold.
Only to die faster the harder I hold.
I am weary so weary, of lost love and tears.
Withering sadly in the fast coming years

Longing to sleep in a place without dreams.
Where all ever remains and endless light beams.
Though for a while my sad heart may sigh.
A new love and joy will come by and by.

Have a great Wednesday everybody! :)

Fly Away With Me

Far from the world we see
Where time stands still,
And we can hear the angels sing!

Fly away with me over the rainbow,
Let my love overflow
Reflect on you and glow!

Together we can reach the stars
Heart to heart,
Where only love so deep so true can rise.

Fly away with me together
On wings of love we can glide,
The sun and the moon will be our hide out
Way above this world of doubts to paradise!

How my soul longs and my heart desires,
To take you there and show you love
Like you have never known.

Fly away with me to this land of no return
Where my heart yearns to be with you endlessly,
Dreams become real soul mates
Can reach their divine destiny.

Under the Clouds

I bind the Sun's throne with a burning zone,
         And the Moon's with a girdle of pearl;
The volcanoes are dim, and the stars reel and swim,
When the whirlwinds my banner unfurl.
From cape to cape, with a bridge-like shape,
         Over a torrent sea,
Sunbeam-proof, I hang like a roof,
         The mountains its columns be.
The triumphal arch through which I march
         With hurricane, fire, and snow,
When the Powers of the air are chained to my chair,
         Is the million-coloured bow;
The sphere-fire above its soft colours wove,
While the moist Earth was laughing below.

For after the rain when with never a stain
The pavilion of Heaven is bare,
And the winds and sunbeams with their convex gleams

I silently laugh at my own cenotaph,
And out of the caverns of rain,
Like a child from the womb, like a ghost from the tomb,
I arise and unbuild it again.

The Pixativity Pro/Amateur Photographer's Circle | September 2014

READ THE WHOLE POST BEFORE YOU ASK FOR INCLUSION

The August circle was a great success and I really loved to combine the usual circle sharing with a challenge. There were so many great and creative black & white photos and it was really hard to pick only three winners. Thanks everybody for participating!

Now, let's get down to the PAC info... :)

I have, as you know by now, re-shaped this popular circle to make it even better and more interesting. There are quite a few changes so I recommend you to read the whole post before asking for inclusion.

Two things are very important: 1. You MUST comply EXACTLY by the rules as stated below OR you will NOT be added to the circle. 2. Do NOT use the comments for ANYTHING else than asking for inclusion as stated in this post.

As I then release the circle, I will announce three winning persons which in turn will receive a FREE spot (value USD 9,95, not to mention all the extra invaluable exposure that comes with that) in the Pixativity Photographer's Directory here: http://maps.pixativity.com.

2. ADD the +Pixativity Google+ Page to your circles.

The theme I have chosen is TRUE LOVE.

Tag you entry with PixativitySeptemberChallenge using a # so that everybody can enjoy your beautiful shots.

When I release the circle, I will announce the three winners, post their images here in my feed, on the +Pixativity page, on the +Photoshop Tutorials page and, of course, on the Pixativity webpage. Each winner will receive an ONE YEAR FREE listing in the Pixativity Photographer's Directory.

The circle will be released end of September.

Now, let's make this month's NEW PAC another success story. :) Get on with the resharing.

Cheers!___

Foggy Forest

The fog  effect in this picture was created following the steps of the tutorial I added to Pixativity today. As you see, you can get really realistic scenes using this technique. I chose to add both background fog and some ground fog to achieve a picture with a mysterious atmosphere. Try it out yourself, it's easy and done in less than five minutes.

Peter’s Secrets 3: Create a Foggy Atmosphere in a Few Simple Steps

As many of you may have noticed, I often enhance foggy pictures using a couple of Photoshop tricks to get the most out of the atmosphere. Sometimes there is not enough fog (if any at all) and I quickly want to change that to get a picture with more mood and atmosphere. In this tutorial I will show you a trick that always works and the best of it all, you don’t have to be a Photoshop genius to create pictures like the ones you see in my feed in no time at all.
