Interesting prototype | Eyeglasses that read to the blind (video at link)
"(Phys.org) —A unique pair of eyeglasses developed by an FIU student team could revolutionize the lives of the blind, enabling them to walk into a library or a store, pick up any book or a can of soup, and read it.
The Eyetalk concept, initially conceived for a student competition in social entrepreneurship, has been hailed by venture investors as a potentially breakthrough product that could make a difference for disabled people worldwide. This week, it was recognized as one of 12 semi-finalists in the FIU Track of the Miami Herald Business Plan Challenge."

Computer & Desk Stretches (Approximately 4 Minutes)
Sitting at a computer for long periods often causes neck and shoulder stiffness and occasionally lower back pain. Do these stretches every hour or throughout the day, or whenever you feel stiff. Be sure to get up and walk around the office once in a while. You’ll feel better!
Feel free to share with your family and friends !

Speaking Welsh conclusively linked to brain damage
I gave up Welsh as soon as I was allowed to - at the age of 13, having had it stuffed into me by various bug-eyed, dark-haired, unshaven North Walians from the day I'd started school. I began, belatedly, to learn French and German instead, and struggled to not resent my parents, the school, the Welsh language, Wales, and all the Welsh for hobbling my start in learning useful languages.

+Sarah Hill Hangout with Chester Nez
one of the last surviving members of the original group of
Navajo Code Talkers
They were a small band of warriors who created an unbreakable code from the ancient language of their people and changed the course of modern history.
Known as Navaajo Code Talkers, they were young Navajo men who transmitted secret communications on the battlefields of WWII. At a time when America's best cryptographers were falling short, these modest sheepherders and farmers were able to fashion the most ingenious and successful code in military history. They drew upon their proud warrior tradition to brave the dense jungles of Guadalcanal and the exposed beachheads of Iwo Jima. Serving with distinction in every major engagement of the Pacific theater from 1942-1945, their unbreakable code played a pivotal role in saving ... more »

The Best Part Of Google+ Is Hangouts
I agree with +Drew Olanoff's article for the most part. Hangouts are what set Google+ apart from the other networks. It's enabled so many people who want to share, meet, converse, create and publish video to the Web.
I've been on Google+ from the beginning and I'm thrilled to see how many people are using the platform as a whole to promote and create their own content (shows, Podcasts, groups).
But Hangouts aren't the only thing that makes Google+ great. It's the platform in general. Yes there is tons of things that need improvements, but as a whole the Google+ system is pretty robust and strong. And let's not forget the fact that it's GOOGLE+, because of this there is great SEO potential to using the platform.
If you haven't really tried out Google+ connect with me and I'd be... more »
