It's a HOLDEN concept car called "Efijy" that was never put into production. It was made in Australia by Holden and is the one and only. As a matter of fact it was built by Holden for less than $200,000 from mostly donated parts from suppliers and has a supercharged V8 under the bonnet. It is housed at Holden's head office in Melbourne Australia where it is proudly on display and has won multiply worldwide awards .

Submissions for this year ended February 28th, but if this was the quality of images from last year then we can expect to be amazed when this years submissions are released.

Tyre Rotation is a maintenance chore which should be carried out each 5,000 km. The reason is quite simply that tyres wear differently, but being able to do your own tyre rotation can sometimes cause confusion.

Flying to get safer as airlines introduce Airbags in first class seating.
In Coach, airbags will be used in front rows, exit rows and bulkhead seats. Apparently the space between other seats in Coach is to restrictive.

In my Garage
1976 Ford Fairlane 500 was released in all it's glory and the price of this car was out of reach of most people. It sold with optional air conditioning for the princely sum of $10,011. Not much by today's standard but back then it was a lot. Here for your pleasure is the original brochure as released in Australia in 1976.

Jaguar XJS 1992 was my daily drive for about 13 years and never missed a beat. Reluctantly sold recently and still in showroom condition will serve the new owner with just as much flair.

 There has been a mountain of speculation about the Samsung Galaxy S4 specifications due for release in a couple of days. As I spend my time reading these articles it is clear that the occasional writer presenting his/her wish list states that it must be made of metal to make them happy. Well I couldn't care less, plastic is just fine with me. I currently have the S3 in plastic and I would rather them put the money they save into more technology rather than delivering something in metal. Anyway I don't think anyone will be disappointed with the technology and I wouldn't trade it for a little strip of metal, would you?

The problem with theses new G+ banners is that whenever anyone accesses your profile they only see the bottom two thirds of the photo. The top third of the photo is only revealed when someone intentionally scrolls up. This makes it difficult for design purposes because all of your intended message has to be designed within the bottom two thirds of the available area and kept away from the profile picture of yourself.

In +BarrySuzy Laughton I have just placed a new design and the picture works well with the new design, in so much that all of the pictures curiosity/interest is in the bottom two thirds and keeps away from the profile photo of myself. Then if anyone should scroll up then the Profile photo is more enhanced by the forest canopy. (Check it out here at +BarrySuzy Laughton)

Is this the new Mitsubishi Triton?
The GR-HEV concept from Mitsubishi has striking features that are familiar to the current Triton. The new Triton is due for release in Australia in 2014 and we shall just have to wait and see, but if it bears any resemblance to the GR-HEV concept we are in for a treat.

In-car GPS reinvents itself.
It is not hard to realise the potential of Smartphone GPS tracking and that may make your in-car dedicated GPS redundant. Well, manufacturers have seen a decline in sales of in-car GPS tracking systems and have found a need to reinvent these units as they try to regain market share that was once solely theirs.

To this end, Navman has announced the release of "My Escape" a dedicated GPS unit for caravans & trucks. These units allow the user to input the size (Length, and Height) of their tow vehicle and caravan's combined length and the GPS will then steer them away from low bridges, dead end streets, where it would be difficult to turn and other such obstacles specific to large vehicles. Due for release around October with a RRP of $599 and for a little extra can be optioned to fit a reversing camera.
