It's funny, I was a bit upset when Google announced they were going to discontinue their Google IG homepage product, but I've found that I've not actually even looked at that tab in about a month now.

Google+ has quite readily replaced that tab for me. Google Reader on the other hand.. I've found Feedly to be a worthy replacement for most of my blog reading though.

I love other content aggregator programs like Zite and News360.  

What tools do you use on a daily basis for content consumption and business?

A nice video overview of Google's new Hangouts

I don't just mean the video chat with 9 people that you're used to--Hangouts has been updated to:

-- facilitate text chatting (you don't have to video chat if you don't want to)
-- allow you to text chat, share photos, and video chat with 1 or multiple people across many different platforms (including mobile devices).

I've got to say, I love the #newgoogleplus , it's brilliant. The more I use it the more I like it too.. has anyone else found their engagement levels going up too?

Huge Announcement.. Bec, Ana and myself are leaving Perth! 

We're leaving Perth to move to the Busselton / Dunsborough area as soon as we can find a house. It's been a long time coming and we're finally doing it for real, I was in Busselton looking at houses yesterday, as well as working in Margaret River. 

We're both really looking forward to the move, but will definitely miss our Perth friends! I'll be up on a regular basis to service my clients and our friends are more than welcome to come down and stay with us any time!

This is a 24 image stitch of the cold front approaching Yallingup yesterday afternoon, there was a heap of lightning and hail in it!

I love watching these storms approach, I was a bit late to see the 10 or more tornados in the area unfortunately.

Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes.. been a great day so far, had lunch with Bruce Willis aka David Vicary and now I'm chilling with my girls for the afternoon while I cook up a roast dinner for my family and friends.

I've been trying to ages to get a decent panning shot of either a surfer or a body boarder shooting through the wave.. I managed to capture 2 images recently that are along those lines, but I've still not nailed it.. I'll keep trying :)

Every now and then I come out with shots that amaze myself.. this is one of my favourite recent images, along with the red leaves and roots. This is part of my One of One series, there will only ever be a single print of this image plus my artist's proof version. This is very close to what came out of my camera, other than some minor contrast correction and cropping, this is straight from the camera!
