I've gained a lot of new followers in the last month; many have just joined Google+ and have an empty stream. For those of you who are brand new to the service, I want you to understand:
The key to enjoying Google+ is to have an active and engaged stream of content. Circle interesting people.
To help you out, I'm sharing my carefully curated science circle. This list contains almost 250 people who are active on Google+ and regularly post about science topics. We've got scientists, journalists and science enthusiasts.
If you import this circle, you'll see what I'm seeing, and I think you'll get why I like Google+ so much. If you don't import it, you'll see an empty screen and wonder why your friends haven't joined.
I try to share this circle once a month or so, with some new faces, and the inactive people removed. So I suggest you import this list into a brand new circle which you can then replace when I send out an update.
