Max Huijgen46,779The 100 most relevant people on G+ you really should check out. It´s impossible to select the people which contributes most to my experience on G+ so I´ll let Google do the dirty work. These 98 people (and 2 pages I helped founding) are the most relevant ones according to Google´s circle sort so they deserve a spot in the Friday sun.  If you´re not in it, be assured I really enjoy your posts and/or comments. I meet a lot of great people here, but this self imposed limit to 100 is just to make it easier for others to circle the whole bunch and check them out.2013-06-21 19:32:111001221459

Richi Jennings35,347Sunday Circle Share... :: Hello to all the new Plussers I met last week (plus a few I reconnected with).Mainly, these folks are engagers, not passive consumers, so add them if you're looking for interesting conversations here on G+.Also, feel free to share this with your circles. Max Huijgen41,136Europe calling: the old giant wakes up and calls on its peeps! A new circle of Europeans as I promised long ago to connect the people who responded and share them. See for the first shared circle this post https://plus.google.com/112352920206354603958/posts/PDUi13o9dB1The original post was shared 225 times. You can find it here:https://plus.google.com/112352920206354603958/posts/CdhmHGbYjgiPart 2 is still open and can be found here:https://plus.google.com/112352920206354603958/posts/NDAhG4fP2a7If you didn´t do so already, post there and as long as I have spots free, I will circle you as I want to see my streams come alive during European hours. There was a shared feeling that it would be great to get some attention from G+ for Europe with official hangouts from the community managers during European times, feature roll-outs from Google no longer restricted to the US, having some central point to share European circles and last but not least the desire to have hangouts without having to burn the midnight oil. To help solve this and get Europeans together on the same page I created +Europeans on G+  It already has multiple managers out of the community and that initiative recently span off +European Photo  but feel to offer a bit of your time for this community project. Circle the page if you didn´t already do so. We need more peeps from all over Europe to participate and enjoy G+I hope these posts can do the rounds through Europe and gets us firmly on the G+ map. So even if you´re not European yourself, but sympathize with the initiatives to form a community here, help spread the word and share it.And don´t forget: we all love the other continents and most of us have circles which encompass the whole world. So it´s not against others, but pro us :)2013-03-15 15:05:14291532076
Max Huijgen40,460100 Most relevant people on G+: interaction and lively threads guaranteed These folks are generated by the G+ ´relevant´ algorithm and will spice up your streams with great posts and mind challenging reactions on your contributions to G+. Circle them and see your streams come alive... My way to thank all of of you for making G+ such a great place.2013-02-21 22:14:1610059751
Meilani MacDonald9,454Small business networking circle.  This circle is made up of people who have expressed interest in the TGIF Business Networking Hangout.  Some of them have been guests on TGIF, many have been HOA participants in the peanut gallery, and some have interacted via comments even though they never came in.  They have all expressed interest in small business networking, and many provide valuable services or advice to small business owners. Some are way more active here on G+ than others, but hopefully they will be encouraged to join us here on the plus more often.Basically, it's just a nice circle to add and share with your business networking connections.  If you are not in this circle, but you are a small business owner or entrepreneur who adds this circle, please leave a comment below and introduce yourself and your biz - we are here to do some business networking after all :) #smallbusiness   #networking   #sharedcircles   #TGIF   #MeilaniM   #entrepreneurs   #business  2013-01-30 21:40:198522421

Amanda Blain2,251,868*500 People Who Hangout Circle*Anytime you see me having a hangout feel free to join in. We use webcam, voice and text chat... (Please get your webcam going though!) and join in the fun conversations. What do we talk about in these hangouts with strangers? Everything and nothing  We talk about todays current events, android vs apple, whats happening on Google+, the price of big macs in your local country, business networking,  tv shows, whatever you want to talk about... To the best of my ability everyone in this circles has personally hungout with me... and it was fun.. :)This circle is where I have made the most lasting connections on G+.... Meeting many of these people in real life since I met them in hangouts. I joined G+ Jun 29th, 2011. I hung out then and pretty much most days since. I was voted Google+ Hangout Queen this year :)I've seen amazing things in hangouts, Tours of far away countries, cooking classes, airplane trips, photowalks, concerts, language lessons, trivia nights, relationship advice, seeing famous landmarks, attending behind the scenes of tv shows, hangouts with famous celebrities, and countless late night and early morning hangouts with fabulous normal people from all parts of the world and right next door... TV shows have nothing on this. Countless experiences all without leaving my living room.If you want to try out hangouts on G+, ADD THIS CIRCLE and join one! These people will have hangouts that you should be able to see and join in on...   People in hangouts are usually really welcoming and nice.. so speak up.. say hi and join us.♥ ♥ Please feel free to share ♥ ♥ps. if you cant add the circle because google says you added too many today.. remove some of the people and try again... :)#googlehangout #hangout #sharedcircles  2012-11-16 03:28:4650010548170
Max Huijgen27,907A mystery shrouded in an enigma: My Top 99 circle These are the 99 users who are on top of my relevance list and I considered myself quite relevant to myself so I overruled Google there :)Many of these folks are engaging with me through posts or comments, but it´s still a surprise circle. Some people have a magic link thanks to Google´s relevancy algorithm which is a mystery shrouded in an enigma. If anyone has a clue what determines relevancy I would like to know. It´s clear that it´s something like ´interaction * no. of followers as I rarely comment on +Robert Scoble and vice versa. Most of the others are completely understandable, but then again some names are missing..I have removed some people who I know mostly through work related email or don´t post in English and added instead the profiles next in line. Want to create your own?► Click circles on the tab on the right► Make sure relevance is selected (default)► Select the top 99 users. (Drag a box around them)► Drag the whole group to "drop here to create new circle"► The new circle will open up. Make sure its 99 and adjust it if needed► Share it and use the hashtag #top99  and #sharedcircles  #top99   #sharedcircles   #sharedpubliccircles  +Shared Circles on G+  +Nothing but Circles  +Public Circles  +Full Circle  +CircleCount  If you got notified you are one of the 99.2012-07-25 23:37:0699109644
Craig Froehle4,629467 Plussers Well Worth FollowingSome curated recommendations to make your Tuesday a bit more interesting. I kept this circle largely free of celebrities, pages, and organizations, so these should (nearly) all be actual people. Enjoy!By the way, topic-wise, it's a bit of a potpourri, but with emphasis on technology, science, progressive politics, skepticism, and other fascinating things.Note that I don't always agree with everyone in this circle, so don't take this as an endorsement of their ideas...merely that they tend to be thoughtful when presenting them.2012-07-03 14:29:094671718
Kyle Beck66So, I know a lot of my friends who have joined +Google+ wonder "What's the point? I have a Facebook." Well that comparison was flawed from the beginning, although many people made it while trying to describe G+. There are similarities, but one of my favorite features in G+ has been the ability to share Circles with others. In fact I'm not sure I would see the point if I hadn't been shared this very circle by +Robert Scoble (IIRC) early on in my G+ membership. It has proven an invaluable source of up-to-the-minute Tech News over the past year and really showed me how G+ is very different from FB.See, when you visit FB the information you receive is solely from your family and real-life acquaintances. This can be great for keeping up with people you don't see regularly, etc., but it is very hard to reach out to new people who share your interests through FB. Not so on G+. You can create and share groups of friends and pages (Circles) to organize your social interests. In effect, this creates dynamic communities where you can choose who you interact with.Anyways, I hope you will consider adding this Circle, packed full of Tech Enthusiasts. If you don't really use G+ or wonder what the point is, that goes double for you!2012-06-30 00:28:364881003

Sebastian Hiernaux1,505Ever since a popular G member added me to a circle he later shared I have seen my followers grow 100x ... so I'm now doing the same thing.Yesterday I read an article that indicated that G+ gets really interested when your followers reach around 300 ... so I want to help other people enjoy this network as much as I do by sharing and hoping you add them to your circles. This circle I am sharing is full of funny and interesting people... its my "personal favorites" circle.Hope you find it useful...2012-06-05 16:00:01362516
Max Huijgen24,852Europe calling: the old giant wakes up and calls on its peeps! Part IIAccording to the latest figures 426.9 million Europeans now use the InternetThere is a is feeling that it would be great to get some attention from G+ for Europe with official hangouts from the community managers during European times, feature roll-outs from Google no longer restricted to the US, and last but not least the desire to have hangouts and interaction without having to burn the midnight oil. To help solve this and get Europeans together on the same page I created +Europeans on G+  It already has four managers out of the community but feel to offer a bit of your time if you want to contribute. Circle the page if you didn´t already do so. I also organized a "I will circle you" project. If people commented that they came from Europe I would circle them instead of the other way. The intention was to share this circle back to the community and the first circle of 500 went out. You can find them here https://plus.google.com/112352920206354603958/posts/PDUi13o9dB1Now as promised it´s time for round 2: 300 people and a few European pages. Some very well known, some relatively unknown, but all certified active posters from Europe who will spice up your streams during European hours.Check them out and please share the circle as the intention is to get much more Europeans united!if you were left out while you signed up: my excuses as it´s a tedious job to manage all these circles. I checked all but I am only human :)2012-06-01 14:51:14301843557
Kevin Medeiros3,101Yeah yeah, this is a huge circle to share. These guys and girls are a bunch of geeks. Geeks of what type you might ask? Well, of all sorts..you'll just have to find out. I've gone through and weeded out some of the inactive users myself in order to stay under the 500 person limit. These guys make up a big portion of my stream and never fail to keep me informed about awesome shit. You may also be asking why I didn't sort them out into sub-geek categories? The answer to that is because I'm not your damn secretary :-)Just check'em out :)2012-05-26 19:20:2947711714

Robert Scoble1,146,151Here are 500 of my favorite Tech Journalists, bloggers, and pundits. I'm sharing this since I am seeing lots of new people coming over and I'm sure they are looking for some great people to circle here. Unfortunately I can't share everyone that I have in this circle (I have 575 in this circle on my screen, but Google+ only lets me share 500 with you). Lots of interesting tech bloggers and journalists here. Hope you enjoy. This is the circle that starts my morning every day.Speaking of Tech News, I'm off to +VMware. They are announcing new Cloud Foundry stuff this morning. So, you'll probably see some tech news from the folks in this circle.2012-04-11 16:01:035005737104

Meilani MacDonald1,136So you wanna hangout?I love the hangouts feature and am always looking for more resources of where to find good hangouts, especially ones oriented to business networking. Lo and behold, today I found a shared circle called "great people to hangout with." I added them all to the Hangout circle I already had going, and now I'm going to pass it along . I'm sorry to not post the credit where I found the circle I added today, but I could not find it again. If you want engagement, remember just adding people to your circles in hopes they will add you back isn't enough. Those with the most engagement are themselves engaging, posting and replying in comments. So be engaging :)2012-03-23 21:53:31253554
Kevin Medeiros2,549This is my circle of geeks. Definitely an active circle that share geeky shit that "others" may not understand, but you do, right?Circle them if you want instant fun. Sebastian Hiernaux0Interesting Plusers CircleI usually don´t share my circles but this one contains around 200 people that I consider to be interesting, funny or both. Most speak English but there are a few Spanish speaking users in there as well. The interesting part is I know none of them personally (those would go in my friends or colleague circles) but are still interesting enough to follow.Hope you find them as interesting as me :)2012-03-21 22:22:07190217

I figured out #circle #sharing is a great thing that #Google #Plus has. Some one does the job and #categorize the #individuals in different circle and share it with friends. I have this #circle of 500 people in case you are interested to add them.2012-03-11 05:21:16500201
Susanne Ramharter3,133Fridays are for sharing circlesto the new people who have put me in their circles: many thanks! Some of you I have already had contact with, to the rest, I would like to reciprocate with this circle. It is hand-picked, and contains people who are funny, intelligent, knowledgeable, and engaged. You will find information about social media, google+, as well as cognitive science, books, travel and art, some agitation against encroaching on civil liberties (SOPA, ACTA, censorship - mostly from me ;-) inspirational as well as snarky things, and yes, the occasional cat. But everyone here is friendly and has great things to contribute, so feel free to share the circle if you like.Have fun!2012-03-09 15:46:5631329719
Cameron Ruggles777#bitcoin #BTC This is my bitcoin circle. I have 21 other people in the circle but can only share 500 at a time... any idea which ones get cut off at the 500 limit? The last 21? Let me know if you also want to be in my bitcoin circle. I will likely share the remaining + others who want to join. Eventually..2012-03-07 02:12:205001106

Lambert Schlumpf874Circle Shareee! The Interactive CircleI modified a bit the circle shared by +Max Huijgen yesterday afternoon (GMT): few people have been removed because their posts attract thousands of comments and you wouldn't get replies anyway. Plus, I am sure you have already in your circles people like +Trey Ratcliff, +Tom Anderson or +Mike Elgan.I added instead few others who I reckon are more interactive, In the meaning that if you post a direct comment to the author you are very likely going to receive a reply, which is always nice: They are people like +Christy Ramsey, +Paul van de Loo, +Clare Cosgrove, +Yvan Da Silva and others. Some of them are not very famous, but oh, well... they interact! First post on my new $249 +NVIDIA Tegra K1 Acer Chromebook 13! I'm ok since the Tegra X1 Chromebooks are not yet announced and +NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang just smiled and said "good idea! we'll take it into consideration!" when I told him I'm looking forward to the Tegra X1 Chromebooks and that I said I think they'll be really important.. I like the keyboard and the matte display and mousepad seems great! I'd like to test the USB3 to USB3 hard drive copy speed I hope it's full USB3 speed! I like the full sized SD Card slot. Looking forward to be amazed by the 13+ hours battery life, fast WiFi 802.11ac performance. This is kind of like having an Ultrabook but just for $249! I'm happy I won't have to endure my constantly crashing Chrome and Firefox experience on my bloated, always breaking and overheating Intel Ultrabook anymore. Every consumer should want to buyAR... more »

World's lowest power: Atmel SMART SAM L21 ARM Cortex-M0+, Andreas Eieland This is the lowest power consuming 32bit ARM Processor in the world based on ARM Cortex-M0+ for wearables (can be with basic touch) and for the sensor networks in the Internet of Things, can run up to more than a decade on a battery. The new Ultra low power Atmel | SMART SAM L21 based on the ARM Cortex-M0+ Core uses less than a third of the power consumption of competitive solutions and can run in active mode down to 35uA/MHz and retain 32kB of Flash and run a real time clock at 900nA. In this demo the SAM L21 is powered from the heat of a hand through a Peltier Element, this is enough energy to modulate a music file and transmit it with AM modulation at 1MHz to the nearby radio receiver. I've been suggesting Google should become a worldwide MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) since Nexus One! But them doing it 4 years ago may have been too disruptive to the Telecom market, but now they really should do it! And go bezerk, provide free unlimited VOIP calls as long as you run Google Android Services on your smartphone, free bandwidth for Google services, free bandwidth for any other service provider who subsidizes the bandwidth, cheap cheap bandwidth-on-demand for everything else, something like $1 for 1GB, $20 for 50GB, bandwidth packs that don't expire monthly (no subscription plans!) and these bandwidth packs should work worldwide! At least Google should work with operators in as many countries as possible to include these services internationally on the same Google SIM Card!!! If a user uses a Smartphone a lot, Google should just keep paying a commission to the hardware maker, something like 20% of everything Google makes for example! Next step also, is to support White Spaces (either through Project Ara modules) or get the spectrum added to mainstream Smartphone modem basebands and also connect to +Elon Musk's 1gbit/s Global Satellite broadband network!

With Apple out of the Samsung Fab, Samsung now has more capacity for better/more high-end Exynos in their own Fab, to improve yields and to increase quantity. I expect the 810 goes less hot than 805 at least when recording 4K video (thus lifting the 5-minute 4K video record time limit on the 805 based Note4), and even encoding H265 to 4K smoothly on 810 with less heat! I do wonder if Samsung plans to sell more Exynos to other high-end brands than Samsung itself only, maybe Samsung wants to compete with Qualcomm in supplying the top high-end Smartphone makers during this year.

Here's a 13-minute video talking about the status of 4K (where more than 25% of TVs to be shipped in 2015 will be 4K, where the bulk of TVs at 50" and above will be 4K by 2018). Everybody is doing 4K. Here's a 13-minute video filmed at CES 2015, talking about explosive growth forecast for Quantum Dot LCD getting extremely pure and saturated light for amazing colors. The cheapest 4K TVs were sub-$500 on Black Friday, even top tier manufacturers such as Samsung and LG are also going below $1000 for 4K TVs at decent sizes, seeing entry level, medium level and step-up from many manufacturers. superMHL 8K 120fps, USB Type-C, 40W, more bandwidth The MHL Consortium (http://www.mhlconsortium.org) has outdone itself with their latest technology specification, now perhaps setting the spec at a very future proof level (shall we say at least until 2020?), supporting up to 8K at 120fps, with up to 40W for power charge, delivering higher resolution, faster frame rates, support for the upcoming USB Type-C (dual side reversible) connector for up to 8K 60fps output from a phone (wow wow!). For the first time, MHL also introduces a new superMHL connector for 8K TVs (as in the first 8K TV from Samsung shown at CES). The SuperMHL spec is for mobile devices, set-top boxes (STBs), Blu-ray players, Audio/video recorders, HDMI sticks and other source devices to TVs and monitors, as SuperMHL should be included in most future FHD/4K/8K TVs, PC Monitors, MHL has shipped in over 750 Million devices thus far.... more »

Put $10 Billion more and +SpaceX will also send a few hans to Mars within 3-4 years so we can know a little bit more about where we come from!

Amaxon Prime for p2p cinemas? With unlimited projections, schedule based on nearby audience interests, to show new as old films, all who attend micro-pay for attending if not Prime members themselves, this can fund regularly updated home theatre equipment, better/brighter projectors, better surround sound, faster bandwidth (with pre-buffering possible to increase movie bitrates), even allows for hosts to make a little money on the side, foster a renewed/revolutionized and disruptive p2p cinema system, in people's homes, on any white wall, on any 4K TV. With ratings by users for the movie going experience.

Much increase transport revenue as before Uber started in San Francisco, the taxi and black car industries were making $120 million a year, today, Uber alone is making $500 million a year in San Francisco. Government regulations take up half his speech, hopefully with better regulations, Uber and similar ridesharing apps will create even far more than 50k jobs and take off far more than 400k cars off roads in Europe.

Solving this requires getting to the core of the problem, and admitting that these are the problems and doing everything to solve these. Not being able to agree on the core problems, will just increase the violence and will not solve anything.___

NYTimes, Guardian, BBC, all censoring new Charlie Hebdo cover because it depicts weeping Muhammad. #jesuisCharlie my ass!!! The terrorists have won, world media still self-censoring. Nobody published ANY of the cartoonists cartoons in these past days! All media do is print "Je Suis Charlie" but nobody actually shows the work of these genius cartoonists that were killed! Over a million and a half people on squares and streets of Paris but were they handing out batches of the cartoons that these cartoonists have geniusly drawn during their careers? Did 95% of those demonstrating ever read a Charlie Hebdo? And why did French police shoot to kill the perpetrators instead of capturing them alive!?? How much interest do you think there is in the next cover of Charlie Hebdo? And is it the duty of any story on the next cover to show what it is, if the cover is already out?

I believe there is a lot of interest. I believe it is the duty to show it.

Yet. The story on the BBC says what's on the cover, but does not show it. They go so far as to not even link to other places in the story where I can see it! http://goo.gl/JTdTC8

Have the killers won by this capitulation by the BBC?

The BBC is not alone in this strategy. Here's the Daily Mail, http://goo.gl/2cEtzn . Here's the "we are the voice of the nation" New York Times: http://goo.gl/Q5BPsF

Here's the The Age in Australia: http://goo.gl/LA4Awv UK's Telegraph: http://goo.gl/fllEiF The Guardian: http://goo.gl/U8Rwsj

NPR does not show it, but links to it in in paragraph one. http://goo.gl/JgDqOX

Kudos for the Wall Street Journal for being a US site where I could see the cover: http://goo.gl/Tn5Ga4

I feel that we should not be needlessly provocative. (This cover is not.) But there is legitimate interest in so many people of so many religious in so many places around the world to see how this magazine would respond.

These "great" "well respected" news sources are behaving shamefully. They capitulated by not including it in the story. They simply gave in.

Even if they decided to capitulate, why not at least, like NPR above at least link to it so that the reader can find it if they want?___NYTimes, Guardian, BBC, all censoring new Charlie Hebdo cover because it depicts weeping Muhammad. #jesuisCharlie my ass!!! AGFA printed electronics PEDOT:PSS conductive polymer and nano silver ink, interview with IDTechEx In Printed Electronics Agfa offer a PEDOT:PSS conductive polymer and, recently, a nano silver ink. The PEDOT:PSS material is used for antistatic optical films and device packaging. In this application AGFA coat the substrate themselves. AGFA also has developed a range of screen printed PEDOT:PSS conductive inks. The material is widely used in polymer capacitors. The emerging application is transparent electrodes.

Netronix shows 13.3" flexible E Ink digitizer sub-400gr i.MX6 Solo Lite Android note taker The coolest product in the world is back, this time by Netronix, it's their ultimate E Ink device, it has better specs than last year's 13.3" Sony E-reader device (http://armdevices.net/2014/01/19/e-ink-booth-tour-at-ces-2014-sony-dpt-s1-smartwatches-wall-clocks-and-more/) as it runs a faster i.MX6 Solo Lite Android platform, and it can be sold significantly cheaper than the $1000 Sony device. Netronix is right now looking for distributors around the world and they are still optimizing the weight and performance just a little bit more before releasing this ultimate note taking and document collaboration device. Hopefully it won't be long and the ultimate Android APK for document notes real-time and deferred collaboration will be available, one that lets groups of lawyers collaborate on annotating a same court document, on that lets several students and teachers easily annotate and read large learning documents, one that easily enables note taking and stylus based creativity on top of text, in a connected way, as a side-kick to Laptop productivity. When this device is sold to mass markets below $500, even massively mass produced and sold below $300, things will change. For that E Ink also needs to drastically lower the price of the display, hopefully some big orders come in from Governments and from massively courageous brands who are ready to bring it to all people!

I grew up reading Le Grand Duduche cartoons by Cabu, RIP. And Wolinski RIP. I have collections of my father's Hara Kiri and Charlie Hebdo from 1960-70ies. All guns should be banned. All atomic weapons should be disarmed. All factories making weapons should be destroyed. I'm not ok with people piling on social media tributes it just emphasises the loneliness and desperation in our inefficient society that is the cause of this carnage instead of fixing it! We just continue the same bullshit! Here are some of Charlie Hebdo's covers from the 1960ies (it was called Hara Kiri before they banned it and they got renamed to Charlie Hebdo in 1970) http://www.vintag.es/2013/01/1960s-hara-kiris-covers-stupid-and-evil.html
