Just tried Google Shopping Express for the first time. Ordered a humidifier from Target at 4:20pm, delivered by an extremely friendly delivery lady at 6:50pm. Finally, Google does retail right.

Finally pulled the trigger on a new MacBook with retina display. Had to murder it out with a black Cid sticker and case.

Dear Google+. I am alive and well. My internet-ing has apparently been fairly limited to work and whatnot lately, and it has been amazeballs.

A few months ago I decided to buy a Canon REBEL T4i. I had a rebel years ago, and really enjoyed it. I have only recently found the time to actually put it to use. Decided to take a drive with +Chris Sewell today and show him some nice spots I've found while exploring the north bay. I'm pretty happy with the way things turned out. Really enjoying night photography the most, will definitely be working on perfecting it.

Going to attempt to take over some portals while I am at brunch today. #resistance

According to this Ingress video, there are strange portals and energy fields all around San Francisco. I'll be putting on my tinfoil hat for my walk to work today.

Google Play wants to tell me about travel apps while I am travelling. Coincidence or creeper?

Attempted to go to Muir Woods today to see some redwoods. Parking was too insane so we decided to just randomly drive around Mt. Tamalpais State Park. I think I might need to invest in a nice camera, though some of the panoramas turned out fairly nice with the stock panoramic feature on the Galaxy Nexus.

Anybody going to the +BigAndroidBBQ and flying out of SFO or LAX should jump on this Google offer. Thanks for the heads up, +Benji Hertel

Google Now's weather data is pretty useless in San Francisco. For whatever reason if I search for weather, it gives me neighborhood specific weather. For instance, it says it is 62F in "Mission, San Francisco" right now. But the card that shows up when opening Google Now gives me weather for San Francisco.
Unfortunately that is far from accurate. Weather Underground says it is 57F. You'd think Google could get some better realtime data, not to mention give me weather reports from the closest weather station without having to ask for it.

Thanks for letting me use the Nexus Q, +Benji Hertel .
It is extremely buggy though and useless if you don't have an android device (with jellybean) which rules out all of my friends.
Might just find an app to airplay from my phone to XBMC, which works much better.

I see a lot of misdirected anger towards Apple and their aggressive use of patents. They're playing the patent system and they're playing to win. Good on them.
Your anger should be directed to the terribly broken patent system that undermines its original purpose and actually stifles innovation and competition.
Don't hate the player, hate the game. We need patent reform.

Google Now and public transit... pretty useful, except for the fact that Muni is never running on schedule, should use realtime arrivals. Still pretty cool.

The panorama on ICS still manages to impress me. Pretty sweet shot (i think) I took walking across the Golden Gate Bridge yesterday.

Furniture has been acquired. Just need to buy a bed, TV and wait on a few UPS shipments and I'll pretty much be completely moved to San Francisco.
Huge thanks to +Dobie Wollert and +Matt Abdou and plenty of others for constantly helping me without the slightest bit of hesitation since I decided to move.

Wait, woah woah. Wells Fargo lets you customize your plastic? What is more appropriate for a "platinum debit card", than richduck? Nothing. The answer is nothing.

Anybody know of a nice furniture store in San Francisco (in the city) to buy a couch/bed/whatever? Something like Ikea but nicer.

I'm finally going to say it, though it is probably been said a thousand times already. I hate the new Google+ layout. I've actually been avoiding G+ just so I don't have to see it.

Insanely cool - Mosh: the mobile shell
Saw this on hacker news today, so it may not be news to some of you. Been trying it out and it works as advertised. I can't wait for an official Android client (which is the works, apparently).
Basically it replaces SSH, kind of. It still uses SSH for authentication but once you are authenticated it sets up a udp connection between you and the remote side. If your connection drops, roams from one Wifi AP to another, Wifi to 4G, etc, it will gracefully reconnect without any user intervention once your connection is good again.
I tried pulling the plug on my desktop and once I plugged back in my connection was back. Tried putting my MacBook to sleep, and the connection was back before the screen even woke back up.
That's pretty much it, not too many other fancy bells and whistles. It is nice that it... more »

HAHAHAHAH. I trolled some company for holding a contest on Google+, reported them as spam and blocked after they talked some smack to me about calling my self an "Internet Badass" on my profile.
What's that you say, their profile is already deleted, you say? Owned.

AND IT BEGINS! Trip to San Francisco to find a place to live has been booked. 19 days, should be plenty of time.
With that being said, I don't work at Grooveshark anymore. Took an opportunity out west, so much more opportunity for software developers in the bay area.

Decided last night spending $900 on Google i/o would be silly. I didn't get much out of the developer sessions they streamed last year, and this year probably won't be much different.
So that is why I turned my phone off and slept in, +Benji Hertel and +Matt Abdou . And it was so worth it.

Side affect of upgrading to Mountain Lion? Google talk plugin appears to be crashing, no hangouts.
