Just tested the new Cycles Render Engine in Blender. You can download the test blend file here: http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?239480-2.61-Cycles-render-benchmark

Without GPU support, the CPU needs round about 4 minutes to render this scene. If I switch over to my NVidia GT4000 GPU, than only 1 minute and 26 seconds. I guess that's not bad :)
I'm using blender with win7 (64 bit). If you are using linux the result would be a little better. Have fun!
