Film: Canon T70 with Tri-x Kodak 400. Some hard light , shadows and textures. Two facets and chain seem unobtrusive and yet a lot things are going on via light.

Film: Tri-x 400 35mm film in a Canon T-70. Twenty four shot from around the house. Followed the Dev-Chart for the film and found that 6 minutes seemed to be just the right amount of time. The mixer below is for concrete and its a beast.

Film TRI-X Kodak 400 in a Canon T-70 w50mm. I got the camera from a thrift shop in Carlyle,IL for twenty buckaroos. Developed in the kitchen using Ilford chemicals. Snazzy little camera.

Those pesky LED lights that all of those bands use. Have you ever just screamed "why". The lights always look on some photos but sometimes they just wash everything out. Normally I like to just to shoot jpeg, time space, loading etc... not that I don't like raw but it has a time a place. Anyway, not sure which one I like, you chose. Or better yet gotta tip for shooting bands with those lights.

Pine Derby racing, this brings back some memories. If you ever get a chance to see one of these races, it's pretty intense. Racers yelling, parents looking on and cheering. So many different styles, types and ornate autos. The total times are tallied after each car races four times and then the winner is announced, The top three where only a tenth of a sec apart. Plus it was my grandsons first race and he took fourth but won three of his races. Fun time....

You just can't replace of film. As you digitights call it, full frame/raw 35mm. Expired Kodak Gold Plus 200 with a Minolta Hi-matic AF-2 Rangefinder. It's freaking cold outside and I am standing in a field with a camera trying to take a photo. Check out the vignette and the awesome grain , can't get that in your photo editing program, can you, nope!
You define purist not me just trying  to what I love the most. Take a photo. No Hype, but maybe I will do 2013 in film book.
