Bring posters showing your opposition to transporting Alberta tar sands
across the U.S. in the Keystone XL pipeline to be sold on the global
market. This extremely dirty fossil fuel costs more to produce,
pollutes more, and produces more climate changing carbon dioxide
than traditional crude oil. Climate change is occurring and projections
for this century are ominous and expensive! Groups such as 350.org,
Idle No More, Sierra Club, Tar Sands Blockade, Occupy Wall Street,
and others are leading the way on opposition to this project, and let's
the Upstate know we don't agree with it either. Bring posters, a

*Run For Your Life from Zombies... for real*

All across North America the zombie fad is taking hold, from AMC's The Walking Dead to news and media using the term any chance they get. The latest fun thing I've seen is this super neat idea called Run For Your Lives - Zombie races! What's a zombie race you ask?  If you are a runner expect a 5k obstacle course including rough terrain, huge up to your waist pools of fake blood, slippery walls to climb and of course being chased by thousands of zombies. If you are a zombie, expect to be transformed into the part of the undead. Makeup artists to do the gore makeup for you.... Including costumes, face wounds, sunken eyes and tons of fake blood.

Annotated book review by +The Economist regarding how Occupy movements are being seen by and offering approach by mainstream media. Some movements are fairly anti-mainstream media and making it tough for coverage.

Note that delivery of selected messages, goals, actions - clear and precise and well targeted will give the movement a boost. Can we as citizen journalists that are part of +OccupyNieuws +***** and other inside movement journalists place information that does the following:

1) Increase understanding with clear goals per action
2) Craft stories that have depth in knowing what leads to an action and the results which follow it.
3) Follow up on actions to capture the stories that result and ensure that spin is at best factual, and hopefully positive/inviting.

After having been stuck in Detroit since Han 15, it is so past time to find the next city. The plan was to go from to the next every 2 weeks. If anyone happens to see some old fool walking down the road with an old army duffel and in sharpy the word occupy, then you will have found OJ<G>...
I would prefer a Greyhound bus to an Occupied city but....
I have seen all there is to see in Occupy Flint, Detroit, Lansing and Flushing. Cities around the USA have invited me, so who knows where I might turn up next but it looks like I'll be hiking crossed the country from here.

Detainment Camps Going Live: FEMA Seeking Subcontractors To Provide 'Temporary Camp Services' In All 50 States
It seems that the US Government is preparing for a high volume of military prisoners. We suspect these will not be foreign nationals, as we either kill them or detain them outside of the USA. So, one must conclude that these corrections, interment and resettlement specialists will be supervising US citizens. The military is calling them internment camps or resettlement camps. Back in World War II they were called by a different name.
