I've been making the most of the cold "spring" so far by wandering out into the still partly frozen marshland around here.  In a cattail marsh, I came across some of the spiders seen below (that's snow in the background, not often you see spiders with that!).  They're quite small, maybe an inch long counting their legs.  The neat thing about these spiders is that when threatened, they hold their legs straight (second picture) and in so doing, they look exactly like one of the many cattail seeds blowing around.

I think this is a type of Tetragnathidae (Long-jawed Orbweaver family) but I would love help on the ID.  Observed in Kitchener, Ontario.
