Angry Birds Sync arrives, two years late

Rovio announced +Angry Birds Sync in April 2011, promising it would arrive "before summer".

As you can see in the comments on this post (https://plus.google.com/+AngryBirds/posts/Vnzr1mC1Y6u), they postponed the feature, despite of high demand.

Just recently, the feature seems to be coming out at last. Rovio announced Rovio Accounts on their website, which in fact is Angry Birds Sync across all Rovio games. Although it's not yet rolled out to all games and all regions, it seems like it will be in the near future.

Congratulations to mankind, we have managed to set a new record.

The concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has reached a new high obtaining 400 parts per million.  This concentration level is substantially higher than the pre-industrial levels which varied between 180 and 280 parts per million. 

The scientific consensus largely attributes this substantial rise to anthropogenic sources.  (That mean us). 

The data in the chart is gathered from the NOAA, a US government agency that has monitored carbon dioxide levels continually since 1959 from an observatory in Hawaii.

Bitcoin used in daily on-street payments

Kreuzberg in Germany's Berlin seems to be the first place where #Bitcoin achieved the state of being a regular payment method.
The video shows music stores and bars accepting Bitcoin as payment and people seem to like it.

Also, one female bartenders states that "There is no typical Bitcoin payer. It's not only nerds, to say it that way."

I bet on complete suicide. I so often try to convince people to use #Ubuntu, but mostly the first question they ask is "can I use Word?"; and we have to admit that Libre-/OpenOffice sucks.

Ubuntu + Office can be the game changer to move people away from Windows, so I hope they'll do it :)

Jimmy Wales, the founder and CEO of Wikipedia, writes about Oscillococcinum and asks the question how many people would have died believeing Oscillococcinum could help them cure from the flu. And he also wonders how it is possible that this product can be sold legally, even with the false advertisement.
