I'm going to shoot for a week in Jerusalem !

I'm very exited because on sunday with my wife we are going to meet with +Jean-Michel Berts to tape some training class with him. I will also be taking lot's of photos of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv or other places in Israel.

I have never been there and very exited.

If you have any suggestions. I'm into landscape or urban landscapes, if you want to shoot with me, it would be pleasure !

This web site is amazing, I had tried other solutions, but didn't get the same result. The only cost is 70$ per year and the rest of the revenu is for you. You can even try for free up to 3 apps. 

it is so easy to make an app for anything. 

The service is top, I could't go on for hours and I get no money for saying that.

Kelvin est de mes meilleurs amis, il est non seulement de loin l'infographiste le plus talentueux que je connaisse mais c'est aussi lui qui est à  la base de mon déclic pour devenir photographe il y a 8 ans. 

Il a crée des logos pour des dizaines de grosse société, dont certaine sont soumis à la confidentialité mais c'est du très lourd, certain que vous voyez tous les jours à la télé, avec un certain George C. j'en  dirais pas plus ☺

How to remove tourists from a photo

I show you here a trick that I learned from +Scott Kelby. Last year, we where in Versaille castle and he hand held his camera and started taking the same photos of the same corridor over and over again. There was a lot of tourists. 

After a while on each of the photos that he had, the tourists where at different places. He then used layers in Photoshop to erase all the tourist. Amazing !

I show you this trick and some data on using the stamp tool and the patch tool with content aware fill.

Here's a short video I recorded last night showing how to extract liquid from one picture and place it into another using the 'Blend If' sliders in Photoshop. 

Really quick and really easy and makes a great technique to add into your 'Retouching Bag of Tricks'.

Day 2 at Photoshop World

I did a few classe today, but one of my favorite was the making of a movie poster by +Corey S Barker of the movie Looper. 

I love doing composites, but seeing him doing his entire workflow from start to finish gave me a couple of more tools to make them pop even more. 

If you don't know +Corey S Barker you have got to check out his blog, he is an amazing teacher and specialise in 3D, composites and movie posters.

I also did a typography classe with +Scott Kelby as I'm really bad at that. The guy as usual is a genius, I learned so much in one hour it's incredible. things like how to make a title for a book, a presentation or a logo. What are the main rules how to align words together. Beautiful !

photoshop World Day -1 how to publish a book

Photoshop world officially starts today but yesterday I did a 4 hours seminar with  +Guy Kawasaki  and   +Shawn Welch  and it was great. The subject  was how to self publish books. 

I have self published a lot of my tutorials "books" more like apps that you can see here :

There is very little text and mostly videos. (that's because I only know how to speak in front of camera and I cannot write at all, but want to improve, but tell no one :-)

So I was very interested by the topic.

arrived in Orlando for Photoshop World I'm exited !

Arrived last night, got to spend a bit of time with my friend +Scott Kelby. What a nice guy, I'm  really I'm always impressed on how easy going he is with people despite his position. It's a quality I love when true leaders have them for real !

I think it is going to be a lot of fun. Lightroom 5 beta is out, check this great video from the NAPP team on the key main features :

I'm going to Photoshop world next week, can't wait

A couple of years ago I went to photoshop world in Vegas and loved it. I did classes all day and specialised in things I had less knowledge such as Typography, video, studio shoots, seo, social network etc...

I learned more in 3 days then in 6 months. The energy is amazing.

Coming to Paris ? Where to shoot once there ?


I often get ask what are the best spot to shoot in paris ?, so I used 500px stories to make a list of all my best spots and when you click on the map you get the exact GPS position on the google map.

Same scene three different photography techniques - Tips

When ever I came across a wow scene, I always like to use all the tools that I have available for me as a photographer, you can see the result of each photo. All photos were taken a few seconds from each other

Photo 1 The Long exposure
I use an ND 1000 filer for this photo and got and exposure of 64 seconds at F13 to get that silky look in the water and the fuzzy clouds.

Photo 2 HDR
I bracketed three photos 0 -2 +2 and used Photomatix to merge. A little recipe, I retouch the photos a little bit in Lightroom first before going into Photomatix.

J'ai adoré ce livre. Il a été écris par un amis, et je l'ai lu un peu au début pour lui faire plaisir, et j'ai été "pris" par l'histoire. Je suis super fan de la série Games of Throne et j'adore ce genre d'univers. 

Il a su créer son propre univers avec des personnages hauts en couleurs.
