Here is my simple effort which shows the wooden bridge that connects the Clontarf area of Dublin to Bull Island - it is a great bridge that rattles when cars go over it with wonderful nervy sounds that make you think will it stand but of course it is as solid as a rock and it survives every time. I have always loved walking across this bridge since my youth as it leads to the beach and a sense of freedom from the city.

you need to have approximately 13'800 followers.  That might not be as high as you thought.

Under Tree

Tree ~ Crann

Appearing to my human mind as somehow sad and lonesome, definitely windswept from its location, this is a tree I came across while walking along the coast in Dublin that caught my eye.

Poolbeg power station

A three frame bracketed  #HDR  shot of Poolbeg power station in #Dublin   situated adjacent to the now-decommissioned Pigeon House generating station, where electricity was first generated in 1903. The Pigeon House was previously a military barracks and the officers accommodation building still exists. It was used for power generation until it was decommissioned in 1976, and the Poolbeg plant is still known locally as the Pigeon House.
The modern Poolbeg station was constructed in two separate phases, beginning in the 1960s. The ESB decided to construct the station in 1965 and the initial development was completed in 1971 with the construction of Units 1 and 2 at a cost of 20 million Irish pounds. The original Pigeon House generators remained on standby duty until 1976. Unit 3 was completed in 1978 at a cost of 40 million pounds.
