GPlussers, this is the latest version of my “Active Engagers Shared Circle” v1.2, a difference of other shared circles that include users with the most wonderful pictures, or those with the most number of users, or the nicest people in G+; this “Active Engagers Shared Circle” v1.2 just includes the GPlussers that are making Google Plus a great experience, with their frequent interaction, in the form of comments, shares or +1’s. All these GPlussers have interacted with my posts on the last week so you know they are currently active and willing to enjoy, share and comment on any good post.

Disclaimer: This “Active Engagers Shared Circle” v1.2 includes GPlussers with different interests and a variety of political positions. I don’t necessary agree with all their opinions, but I certainly respect their point of views… even if while I was adding some of them to this circle I was trying to kick my own… well you get the point…

I recommend you to make your best to hook these guys to your circle and the best way to make them circle you back is having some great public posts in your stream before you add them to your circle, follow the following tips to make the best of your Google Plus adventure…
TIPS TO GET PEOPLE TO CIRCLE YOU.

First thing, go to your profile and fill out the “About” tab, it is very important that you try to fill this out as much as possible, you may want to avoid personal information like your address and phone number, after all it is the Internet. A lot of people before circling you back will review this page and won’t circle you if it is blank. At least you should fill the Introduction, Bragging rights (something that catch the eye, brag about yourself), and Places lived.

Also, it is very important to change the default photo, as beginner I would recommend to put one of your best pictures where the other Google Plus users can see your face, then later change it with your pet picture or whatever you want to have as your avatar. It is very important when you start that people feel like is getting to know you so they can feel confident to circle you back… don’t put that picture your friends shoot last time you fall asleep at that party… leave it for later, when enough people have circled you back..

Don’t hide your information, there is nothing wrong with being new to Google Plus and don’t having too many people in your circles or not too many people that circled you back. A lot of people, like me, won’t be really inclined to circle back somebody that hides this information, it could be a troll or a spammer. Besides, looking to the people you have in your circle and who circle you back may help to get somebody to circle you back, it has happened to me when I do not find enough posts from a user that interest me, I check their circle and if I find people that I know as interesting, I assume there is potential for this person to become interesting as well.

Before you start adding people to your circle, fill your stream with great stuff. The first think I do when people circle me is to check their streams to find out what they post, if I don’t find enough stuff that interests me, I don’t circle back. Chances are, this will be the only time the people you circle will take a look to your stream, if they don’t circle you back, so don’t miss the chance to introduce yourself with great posts.

Don’t even think on writing, “I’m going to take a shower”, “Brrr, it is freezing”, “I’m going to the gym”, … as posts, you can use FB for that, for some reason people don’t find amusing these kind of posts in Google Plus. Instead, you can share whole anecdotes, funny stuff is always very well welcomed… The usual “Good Morning” or “Good night” seems to be fine, if you really have to post it…

Until you have enough people in your circles, try to make only public posts, so the people you circle can chec
