Did you know the following keyboard shortcuts in Gmail?
- 'c' to compose a new email (short email)
- 'shift-c' to compose a new email in a popped-out window (medium email)
- 'd' to compose a new email in a new tab of its own (long email)

(In the third case, if you're writing a long complex email, you're probably better off creating a doc on Google Drive and sharing it instead.)

More keyboard shortcut goodness—and many of these work in intuitive ways across many Google products:
- 'j/k' to go to next/previous item
- 'Enter/u' to go down/up, for example in Gmail 'Enter' displays the currently selected conversation and 'u' takes you back to the inbox.

How To Learn Anything

Learning is a skill. It's easy to master. For example, I start differently when I'd want to learn something new in web development. Yes, I do break it down, and I start with deployment. Not the Hello World; deployment! That works for me. Just figure out what works for you.

To demonstrate learning faster, I also use this method to remember what I'm picking up. Deconstructed the video from the share into this visual. It's much easier to remember. #HowToLearnAnything

From my previous post, it just really sunk in that Google should know me based on my emails, chats and posts. The AI should know me, right? So I ran a test. I fired up Google Now, and asked "Google, what's my name?" The reply: "Oh no! Did you forget your name?" That's it!  It still doesn't know me. I bet it doesn't know your name either even if you were Lady Gaga or Vic.   #beingsilly

I suppose I dreamt it? The JS vid demo is not on my YT history. Hmmm maybe it was on Vimeo. What's that new JS Framework? It's not Ember and not Angular. Just came out with a book. In the vid, the demo showed a comparison of how like counts update on the desktop and tablet version. Data is editable directly via the browser... had no callbacks? Anyone know?

Perception is a big deal. Word in the street is that wearing glass makes you look geeky.
