So. Not only did they misrepresent the survey results, (97% of 32% does not equal 97% of ALL SCIENTISTS), they biased the data collection.
Soon to follow: much whining about "poor communication strategies" and "anti-science deniers".

I've got this multi-app drawer on the side of my screen, and have looked for settings all over the place, but can't find anything. Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

I'm looking at an iPhone for my husband. He day-trades, so I wanted to know if anyone in this community could recommend any good real-time charting apps. Pivot point info would be the killer.

My friend Donna Bell hasn't felt the grass on her feet, took a walk in the park, hugged her Mom and so many other things that we take for granted in 36 years. Donna is a real person and a very talented and sweet one. I would love to see this goal met. Please do what you can. Thanks!!

"... But isn't that what we pound into the heads of our children these days? We teach them to work hard in school so that they can "get a good job" when they grow up. From a very early age we train our children to plug themselves into the system."

I remember when some g+ers asked us android users if anyone actually wanted a larger phone, sowing seeds of discord and such. Of course, we know the answer to that question. And now comes a new question...

"... Yet government spending fell sharply again..."
Why is this even counted as a drag on the economy?

I'm using the search button system-wide, trying not to use app shortcuts, and seeing how natural it seems.
I don't know if I can remember the names of all my apps.

Is it a web-based Tasker?

"This is delightful: it means that after a few hundred million more in taxpayer funded research, the Fed will, some time in 2025, realize that QE was counterproductive all along and that it was the Fed whose constantly central-planning, micromanagement interventions were the cause for all that is wrong and broken with the economy. Or something that has been clear to most with a frontal lobe since March of 2009 when the first monetization program was launched in earnest.
We jest of course: there will be no Fed in 2025."

For those wondering, this is what homeschool frequently looks like around this time of year. Not in every single case, but more often than not.
A full-time curriculum can usually be accomplished in half the time.

Book Bomb Today!!
This young man, Ben, was in a bad long boarding accident last week, he's still in a medically-induced coma in ICU, and his family has no medical insurance. His father, David Wolverton (aka Dave Farland), is an author who's daily writers' "Kick" emails are a help to me, and I've attended one of his writing workshops. There is a book bomb going on today to help raise money. The focus is on two of Dave's books (I haven't read either one yet, so can't comment very well on them), or people can also make straight donations for Ben's recovery. I'm planning to do both, since buying a book will boost it's ratings and make it more visible to other buyers, but a donation will go directly to medical expenses. (Dave will get his usual author's percentage from book sales.)
