Team android , I had bought a galaxy nexus a few months back , and I am currently using it in India - Bangalore with Vodafone as my service provider. 
When I first switched on the phone it upgraded from ICS to Jelly bean 4.1.1 . My friends who picked up the galaxy nexus because of me , have received the 4.2 upgrade . I still haven't . 

I was hoping you could do something about it as I and desperate. Looking forward for the good fellas at google to help me out !

Several days ago as I left a meeting at a hotel; I desperately gave myself a personal TSA pat down.

I was looking for my keys. They were not in my pockets. A quick search in the meeting room revealed nothing.

Suddenly I realized I must have left them in the car. Frantically, I headed for the parking lot.

My husband has scolded me many times for leaving the keys in the ignition.
My theory is the ignition is the best place not to lose them.
His theory is that the car will be stolen.

As I burst through the door, I came to a terrifying conclusion. His theory was right. The parking lot was empty.

I immediately called the police. I gave them my location, confessed that I had left my keys in the car, and that it had been stolen.

SAMSUNG PAYS APPLE $1 BILLION SENDING 30 TRUCKS FULL OF 5 CENTS COINS

This morning more than 30 trucks filled up with coins of 5 cents arrived at Apple’s headquarters in California. Initially, the security company that protects the facilit
y said it was diverted to the wrong place, but minutes later, Tim Cook (Apple CEO) received a call from Samsung CEO explaining that they will pay $1 billion dollars for the fine recently ruled against the South Korean company in this way.

the funny part is that the signed document does not specify a single payment method, so Samsung is entitled to send him to the creators of the iPhone its billion dollars as they deem best.

This dirty but genius geek troll play is a new headache to Apple executives in the sense of the method that they need to apply for counting all that money, check if it is complete and try to deposit it crossingf... more »

1,000,000,000,000 Frames/Second Photography

How about that for a shutter speed, eh?

This is real rocket science: A camera that can film photons in flight. In doing this, it reaches towards the extreme outer edges of physics where weird relativistic effects take place.

Just as a comparison: If you would be filming a bullet flying through that bottle at 1,000,000,000,000 Frames/Second, you would have to watch a whole year to see it go through.

PS: Why they used a Coca Cola bottle to demonstrate this is beyond me, though! ;-)

The Human Impact

As a photographer that is tasked with documenting life on this planet, there are many things that I come across on my travels that leave me disgusted, depressed and in a bad mood. This image below is one of those scenes. While I did not take this photo, I can relate, having seen similar dumping sites while diving in various regions of our beautiful oceans.

Is Facebook toast?

It’s been an "septimana horribilis" (horrible week) for social networking giant Facebook.

First, Facebook got its keister handed to it by Google+in a customer satisfaction survey. Then another report showed that Facebook is bleeding users.

This isn’t the end of the world for Facebook. There’s still hope for the company. But a radical shift is needed now to stop Facebook from declining into irrelevancy.

Personally, I tend to be a "The Risk Taker"...but only because I keep forgetting to bring my black rapid shoulder strap when working across the globe. Easier said then done when it is with a Nikon D4 and 70-200mm lens though ;)
