Martijn van der Meulen5,976A few people have asked me about my Chrome OS circle, so here you go. The best Google+'ers you can find here that know about all things Chrome OS, Chromium OS, Chromebooks and Chromeboxes.Shout if you want to be included or if you recommend someone.2013-03-03 14:16:5024231224

Johnny Johnsen5,985#F1Johnny  Circle :I have had some Formula 1 circles this season. Some from them from the one and only +Jens Graikowski  , some from others and some i have made myself. The things that matters for me is that the person in this circle is above average interested in Formula 1. If you do not get many (sometimes to much) post about Formula 1, you are probably in my "Motorsport " circle or or another one :)I want the person in this circle to feel that he or she belong there. If you want to be there but isn`t. Notify me !If you are in there and think this is to much Johnny !!!!! Notify me !  :-)Now Googla is on fire with "Communities" and this is great news for usFormula 1 fans. Now we can move in to the #F1 #Communities and just chat about Formula 1 all winter :-)Here are the links to the one i`m in :  http://bit.ly/VEMMJhhttp://bit.ly/TRWt1PI will also post and share my Formula 1 circle and my Motorsport circle.I hope that Formula 1 2013 season will be THE season for F1 followers on Google Plus. I think communities and the fact that it is so many more members here at the start of the season will make this to a great team.Google Plus will crush FB and be a good addition to Twitter in 2013 season :-)98,5 days left to the start ;)PS: If there is a lot of spelling mistakes, the reason is that Google Translate is not at work today :-)Have a great wintertime, and a fantastic Christmas.Johnny2012-12-08 17:42:33302805
Jens „Google Plus Yoda“ Graikowski10,635Last share of the F1 circle (Part two) ...As I have completely changed my circle system and am working exclusively with my "Interaction Ladder" (http://bit.ly/VfSrjs) for incoming and my "Targeted Circles" (http://bit.ly/XSXBoR) for outgoing traffic I have decided to delete even my last themed circle, the #FormulaOne  circle.I believe that creating a #Formula1  community via a circle is impractical and cumbersome. A #GooglePlusPage  is better suited for this endeavour, so if you want to be part of a large #F1 community I recommend you try some of the pages around, like +F1 Circle (the page that belongs to this circle) or +Formula 1 Fans. I will share this circle in two parts (One of the reason that it is cumbersome. You can't share circles larger than 500) so it doesn't get lost for those who are still interested in it. I will delete it from my circles afterwards. This is part two with F1 aficionados from M to Z. You'll find part one further down in my stream.Don't get me wrong! I'll keep on posting about the F1 and I'll do so publicly. You can still all read my Formula 1 posts. If you'd like to be notified of them I'll gladly add you to my Formula 1 targeted circle. Just +1 the first comment underneath this post!I hope we'll all enjoy the last race of the season 2012 and am looking forward to see you all again in 2013.And now go and share this circle all over the place, will ya!Greez,+Jens Graikowski ***************************************************************** #jgformula12012-11-22 23:06:413141048

Max Huijgen27,573Will Red Bull be allowed to race this afternoon? FIA finds fault with their engine mapping suggesting that Red Bull uses illegal torque maps. Technical delegate Jo Bauer put forward his findings after Saturday's qualifying session, claiming that both cars are in breach of the regulations. The effect of the strange looking torque maps is that maximum power is not delivered in the mid RPM ranges suggesting that the exhaust flow is used to influence the aerodynamics. Strictly forbidden after last years 'exhaust-blown diffuser' exploit of the rules. Sanctions could range from grid penalties to exclusion of this race!find below the first F1 circle; I will share the second one in a minute2012-07-22 10:39:5350021216

Max Huijgen25,284The latest F1 circle: just in time for the Montreal race, don´t miss it!The circle has only 495 members as I hit the limit earlier today. Next round I will add everyone who I missed or who comments here with a request and split over two circles.Let´s share and grow this circle and reach out to all fans on G+ to connect!I will merge with the work of +Brian Titus and +Jens Graikowski like we did before when we all have sufficient room again to grow this in to all-in-one series of #F1  circles.2012-06-10 17:53:3949520618
Jens „Google Plus Yoda“ Graikowski4,830the SUPER F1 CIRCLE (first installment) ...here it finally is! ... the collective effort of hundreds of F1 buffs all over the world ... the SUPER F1 CIRCLE! ...this circle started some time ago with three guys roaming G+ on the search for #formula1 fans ... +Brian Titus +Max Huijgen and my humble self put everybody who posted #F1 posts or commented on them in a circle and this circle has been circulating (you see what i did there, don't you? ... circle? ... circulating? ... no? ... well, never mind!) G+ for weeks and months now ... now we went one step further ... in one of my last posts i asked all members of the circle to send me their's, since it was probable that they had some #foreveralone aficionados in their private F1 circle that weren't yet in ours ... and there were! ... our SUPER F1 CIRCLE has grown to impressive 593 members! ... since i can only share 500 in a circle, this is the first installment ...the next installment will follow in a second, but there might be a problem ... since google in its infinite wisdom decided to make every movement in your circles a circle addition i can't split the circle properly ... i tried to and because i had moved some of the F1 buffs around already, my circle page told me that i had exceeded my limit to add people to my circles ... i had only added about 20 but since i moved hundreds from one circle to another i was told off ... well, that is the subject for another post ...anyway, i'll share the second installment in a sec, but there might be some doubles ... that doesn't matter though if you just add the second circle to the first ... doubles will automatically ignored then ...if you still have your ow F1 circle, send it to me (share it with just me) ... i will add to the next update then ... like this we should be able to collect the majority of the F1 buffs in one all encompassing circle ... thx for your collaboration! ...please don't forget to share this post publicly! ... we want to reach every F1 fan out there and we can only do that with your help! ... and don't forget, we are going to start our formula 1 race hangout at around 6pm GMT! ... you better reserve yourself a spot ... read more here http://bit.ly/Lg58Xj ! ...greez,+Jens Graikowski ...************************************************************************permalink to this post: http://bit.ly/KJbun4 ... #jgformula1  if you'd like to be notified about these kinds of posts, please read http://bit.ly/JPJxor ... if, on the other hand you are already receiving these notifications and would rather not anymore, please let me know in a PM (no questions asked) ...2012-06-10 15:52:2850116412
Max Huijgen23,013The latest #F1 circle of true Formula one fansRemember we are in Barcelona now, hence European hours so we can all watch the race at the same time now. Jens „Google Plus Yoda“ Graikowski3,652newest version of our #F1 circle ...updated on the saturday, the 14th of april 2012» honey, they're here!+Max Huijgen has finally shared his eagerly anticipated #formulaone circle ... just in time for the race weekend in china ... i added it to our already existing circle and we gained a whopping 96 new members! ... thx to his excellent work our circle is now 344 #formula1 buffs strong! ... that's impressive, though there must be more out there ... please share this circle publicly, so we can find them all! ... if you are reading this and are not yet included in the circle, but would like to be, give me a shout in the comments! ...» who are we?originally this circle was curated by +Brian Titus (with a bit of a helping hand by myself) to bring all the F1 fans at #googleplus together and discuss our favorite subject ... we have our own +page too, called +F1 Circle ... don't forget to add it! ... apart from discussing the news around the formula 1 circus we'd like to do more though ... i for example will invite the whole circle to a hangout at every #race (if i can't or won't watch a race, like bahrain, we'll find somebody else who starts the hangout) ... like this, we can watch the #grandprix together (it's always nicer in good company) ... if you have some other great ideas about activities, that could make our little circle more interesting, let me or +Brian Titus or +Max Huijgen know! ...and now, let's all have a great time together! ...greez,+Jens Graikowski ...****************************************************************************** #jgformula12012-04-14 18:59:363441007
Max Huijgen20,565Will Rob Smedley start driving the Ferrari himself? An F1 circle of fans!A few weeks ago I started collecting people who are real fans of F1. Now crowd sourcing has the disadvantage that there are always people who want to be in a circle no matter the subject. I have taken my time to go through comments and posts all over G+ and came up with the following hard core fans. Now I´m pretty sure there must be much more and I will gladly add you if you have a clue about the post titlle :)Now, there is already a +F1 Circle and +Jens Graikowski and +Brian Titus have been curating this. Last year +Kol Tregaskes and I made the same effort. The goal is of course to get to one circle to rule them all ;)It makes no sense at all to have fragmented circles so I checked mine against the existing ones and found 98 new names compared to the latest shard one, so that´s good news. Before I merge I want to be sure we have as many people who really love #F1 as possible and avoid taking on board too many people who just want to be in. If you already have the latest circle you can just add this one to it to win the 98 new ones. What I hope for however is that we will find even more F1 fans thanks to this post and that I can share an even larger one next time. So if you´re in it and feel others are forgotten please mention them. Oh, and if you don´t want to be notified just say so, and I make sure someone else can be on the selected list for notifications.2012-04-14 14:56:1417056622
Martijn van der Meulen2,841Looking for people that are active on Google+?People that both post great content, but also engage? Then this is the Circle you want to add. Yesterday I managed to get a group of great people together who love interacting with others - so if you post quality content you know that with this Circle you can broadcast it to an audience that's very active here.It has taken me about two hours to get this ready, so I hope people will appreciate it. And please re-share it if you think that your own followers will benefit from it as well.Just two small disclaimers:1) Being an "engager" doesn't mean that these people randomly click on any of the people that have them circled and start interacting. Like I said, it just means that if you post great content than this time you at least know that you're broadcasting it to people that are very active on Google+. (thanks +Annie Yim and +Meirav Berale for pointing this out).2) Most extensions for adding all people in a post are broken, so I had to add everyone by hand. Apologies if I've forgotten a few of you, such as +Missy Hope and +Arvid Bux. Make sure you add them! :)Enjoy!2012-04-13 13:10:34291481133

Jens „Google Plus Yoda“ Graikowski3,553newest version of our #F1 circle ...if you are a #formula1 buff, this might interest you ... a circle of birds-of-a-feather ... these are either people whom i've found all over G+ commenting and posting about the #formulaone , or peeps who specifically asked to be added to the circle ... being in this circle is fun! ... if you are interested in formula one you'll find fellow fans here ... there are always interesting, sometimes even heated, discussions going on ... we organise hangouts at #race weekends, to watch the #grandprix together ... if you'd like to be added, you can either add yourself and share the circle on, or just let me know in a comment at this, the original post, and i'll add you to the next up date (we do them regularly) ... also if you'd like to be taken out of the circle, please let know ...we are 230 strong now, but this can not be every F1 fan on G+, so please help us find the rest! ... add your own F1 followers, but don't share this circle only with your formula 1 peeps ... please share it publicly, so we can reach every living soul here on G+ (and of course all the ghosts too) ... #jgformula12012-04-05 16:40:4423017137
Lawrence Duffy411MotoCircle Maxed OutMotorcycle Circle for all to share. There is a weird rule on +Google+ that you can only share 500 people and pages from your circle so here they are. Sir John Hardy17,427There have been a few circles shared about lately. None, however, is as good as this one. Each person in this circle has been crash tested in a laboratory, simmered in a social incubator and boiled in the crucible of interaction. All have come up with a pH reading of 4 or higher.2012-03-11 14:36:3337538720
Martijn van der Meulen940A few days ago I shared my #Chromies circle, aka a circle full of other Chromebook owners. It consisted of 91 people at the time, but soon after sharing I got bombarded with messages from other Chromebook owners who wanted to be added to it.The list now consists of 150 Chromebook owners(!). I curate the list properly so every one in the list is relatively active on Google+. Feel free to add them if you own a Chromebook as well and if you want to hear updates from Chromebook owners. Feel free to share this circle amongst your friends if you think they are interested in it as well. The list also includes ChromeOS Community Manager +Melissa Daniels who is definitely worth following for all the latest and greatest when it comes to Chromebooks.Enjoy!2012-02-17 12:15:44150311

Here it is. My very first smartwatch, the Sony Smartwatch 3 aka SWR50 running android wear.

I've had it since about 11am this morning, so I've had about half a day to get used to it. There are still many things to learn and appear in ways of notifications.

My initial impressions of the watch is that it is OK looking. Nothing special, but certainly not out of place for the purpose I want it for, which is in the work place. I certainly have no intentions of wearing it out to a dinner party, that's what real watches are for. This is not a piece of bling, this is purely for practicality.

But I don't really want to talk about the watch though, I'd rather talk about the experience. The first thing I noticed about this new device is that it's boring. Boring in the sense that you can't do anything with it. In fact it's much like a new born baby. You... more »

I'm not sure how I managed this but I've got a Sony SWR50 due to arrive at my office on Monday 10th November, and wait for it, I only got charged £155

I preordered it at over £225 just a week or so back and was given a lowest price guarantee by Amazon. This watch is suppose to retail for £189 I believe, so I'm well happy with this cracking deal. What a steal.

Now the question is, will I enjoy it? I still love the look of the LG G Watch Round, but I think this watch has more potential with its GPS, NFC and WiFi capabilities. Only time will tell.

One of the things my android wear smartwatch has provided me, which I never expected, is the ability to have my phone on silent yet never miss a call.

I used to have my ringer turned up to maximum. Very distracting and annoying when in public. But even with it set to its loudest, often I would miss calls because I didn't hear the phone ring. So annoying.

Now I have my phone on complete silence. Nobody gets upset when it rings. Instead my wrist gently vibrates and alerts me to the silent call. I love it.

Since I've had this watch on my wrist, I don't think I've missed a call by accident.

My favourite feature of the SWR50 is its transflective display.

The fact that in bright situations the display is highly visible even without the backlight activated is just brilliant, but the fact that when it's in dark environments the watch face is completely black with no backlight leaking through is just fantastic.

Some may argue that this is a poor design, but I actually think it is the perfect design. As soon as I raise my wrist or touch the screen the backlight kicks in and the display becomes visible. So in dark situations, ie cinemas, there is no distractive light being emitted. Perfect

A duck catches bird flu in the UK so 6000 other healthy ducks are slaughtered to protect the human species, even though it hasn't been confirmed humans can contract it

Thousands of humans catch ebola and die, yet no human has been slaughtered even though it can be passed between humans. Instead humans do everything they can to protect lives (except a slaughter), even releasing a bloody christmas song.

Perspective right. It's only a duck afteral.

P.s I eat meat, I just find this amazing that its socially accepted to kill a healthy animal for no real reason.

You... more »

But I don't really want to talk about the watch though, I'd rather talk about the experience. The first thing I noticed about this new device is that it's boring. Boring in the sense that you can't do anything with it. In fact it's much like a new born baby. You have to wait for it to request your attention. Sure you can poke and prod at it, even talk to it, but the best experience is when it calls for you when you are least expecting it. It'll do something that makes you nod in appreciation.

Right now I couldn't tell you what the best thing about it is. There is nothing I dislike about it, and nothing that has me jumping for joy. Has it made a difference in the short few hours I've had it, probably not. Am I enjoying it, absolutely. But the real test is going to be the period after the honeymoon. Hopefully this isn't going to be a 5 minute wonder, but instead bring some real benefits to my everyday work.

We will see.

P.s On the watch front, boy does that band collect every bit of dust (See photo).___

+Brian Matiash Each time I take a photo on my Nexus 4 running the latest version of android 4.4.? and the latest update to Google Camera, my phone goes nuts.

It started happening with the Google Camera update prior to the last one (about 2 weeks ago). I was hoping the latest update was going to fix the issue as I left feedback. Here is a screen shot of what happens. Often the phone will reboot straight after.

My wife's Nexus 4 does exactly the same so I'm wondering if it is an issue related to Nexus 4 devices only. Can you pass on the screenshot to the team. Thank you.

Is anybody else experiencing this?

I'm not sure how I managed this but I've got a Sony SWR50 due to arrive at my office on Monday 10th November, and wait for it, I only got charged £155

I preordered it at over £225 just a week or so back and was given a lowest price guarantee by Amazon. This watch is suppose to retail for £189 I believe, so I'm well happy with this cracking deal. What a steal.

Now the question is, will I enjoy it? I still love the look of the LG G Watch Round, but I think this watch has more potential with its GPS, NFC and WiFi capabilities. Only time will tell.

There could be another twist in my ongoing desire to own an android wear smartwatch.

At first I was all for the Moto360, but when the official details were announced I was disappointed by the lack of WiFi support, it's small battery size and its IP67 rating. Then add to that the bottom part of the screen which is missing, and I just fell out of love with it. Don't get me wrong, other than that, the watch is gorgeous, and the wireless charging is brilliant.

Then came along the LG G Watch R. The battery size is better, it includes a barometer, and has a fully circular screen, albeit with a large bezel. I actually prefer the thought of having the raised bezel because I believe it will protect the screen from more knocks and scratches than the others. But it still lacks WiFi and a better IP rating. It also lacks the wireless charging.

It also lacks the wireless charging.

Well now I have seen the Sony Smartwatch 3 SWR50. It has an improved IP rating of IP68, GPS and NFC, none of which the other two mentioned above have. But the icing on the cake is that it is WiFi Ready. Again the other two don't have this. Android Wear doesn't yet support WiFi, but I believe it will very soon and that it is a vital feature of a smartwatch that up to this point has been overlooked. Sadly though, this smartwatch lacks heart rate monitoring, and it isn't circular. Its not even the nicest looking of smartwatches.

So there you have it. I now have 3 smartwatches that I like, but none of them which I truly love. My heart wants the LG, but my brain says go with the Sony.

Why you ask. Well I think the combination of GPS, WiFi and NFC will future proof the watch much beyond the other two. All the other parts ie wireless charging, heart rate monitor and circular screen are all nice to haves. And I can put up with having to plug it in to charge because the battery should last a couple of days. And the IP rating means I could wear it swimming if I so wished. And I believe its cheaper than the other two. So now I think I'm going to buy a Sony SWR50.

How about that +Jason Bayton :)___

I want to share with you all a new product that I'm bringing to mass market.

I don't have anything to show you at the moment but the specs are above anything you have ever seen before. It will blow all its competitors out of the water.

I can tell you that it will be released sometime soon. And that it will cost you some money.

Now that I hopefully have you hooked, this is what I see everyday in the tech world. Promises of new things to come, surrounded by a load of hype. No actual details, no prices, and no firm release dates.

Why don't tech companies wait until they actually have a product ready to sell before they announce it to the world. Look at +Virgin Galactic. Is this ever actually going to be a thing, or is it some massive PR stunt?

I'm slightly confused, so I'm hoping somebody may be able to shed some light for me.

I've always been under the impression that the android wear OS isn't customisable by manufactures much beyond watch face designs.

So in regards to the article below, is that update specific to the moto 360 or is it an android wear update that all android wear watches benefit from?

Buy today on release day and you'll get a 25% discount (apparently)

Great start to the app, with plenty of potential (check out my review). Love that you can annotate photos. But no online syncing between devices 😕

I've always liked the sound that comes from a piano and now I think I have fallen in love with it. I decided to go searching for acoustic piano sounds and this song was the first I came across on +YouTube. It is truly mesmerising. Be sure to listen to it in complete and utter silence, with no disturbances. Maybe even close you eyes and feel the story behind the music.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Now I am going to explore some other songs by +ThePianoGuys and I may even share some more with you all if I like them.

P.S

Something makes me think +Jean-Baptiste Quéru may appreciate this, as I believe he loves a good sound system and some decent classical sounding music.

My thoughts on the Jules Bianchi accident, and solutions.

Please visit my original post in the F1 Community if you wish to comment.

First I want to start with; what happened to Jules Bianchi is a terrible thing...

But...

I can't stop thinking that everyone is looking at this all wrong. People keep calling for the cars to be made safer, be it enclosed cockpits, or roll cages.

Others are saying the race should have been stopped because of the rain. Personally I think unless you can't see the track in front of you, these are skilled drivers who should be pushed to the extreme of racing in the most slippery of conditions. That is their skill so it should be tested to the extreme.

Others are calling for safety cars to be deployed when a recovery vehicle is on track, again I feel double yellow flags is more than adequate. It signifies to slow down and be prepared to stop. Something I think the drivers tend to ignore.

But what I haven't seen criticised is the recovery vehicle itself. Now I personally feel what happened where a race car came of at the same corner in which a recovery vehicle was already on circuit and then collided with it was a freak accident. It has occurred in the past though, so it is a danger and it needs addressing. I can't help but feel we need to turn our attention to the physical aspects of the recovery vehicle itself. That vehicle is a huge lump of weight that has a high ground clearance. Any race car that collides with it is going to be subjected to a huge impact, and as seen with Bianchi, the car is likely to partially end up going under the recovery vehicle. So what struck me was, why are recovery vehicles not surrounded by an impact absorbing material that stretches down to the ground to stop race cars from going under the vehicle and also reducing the impact forces? Tyres, barriers, water barrels?

I can't help but wonder that if Jules Bianchi had hit some form of protective barrier, the barrier, wheels, nose cone and cockpit would have absorbed a lot of the impact reducing the incredible stopping forces that occurred.

Am I being too simplistic?

So to sum up, the issue isn't the car, it isn't the weather and it isn't the race procedures. The issue is with the recovery vehicle itself!___My thoughts on the Jules Bianchi accident, and solutions.

On top of this I keep hearing the 6+ is as bendy as a stick of celery and you shouldn't keep it in your pocket.

This is not what I expect from Apple. Their products are usually top quality, even if they aren't my personal preference.

Has anybody with a Moto360 tried charging their watch whilst it is still on their wrist?

What I'm thinking is, if you sit at a computer all day and have your wrist/watch lent on a qi charging pad, would the watch charge? Or does the back of the watch need to be touching the qi charger for it to work.

I think I know the answer but curious if anybody has actually tried it?

I was actually hoping this was going to be a way of allowing you to share with certain contacts and them not requiring a password and therefore a Google account, but instead sign in with just their email address.

This way it makes it more secure than sharing with 'anyone with the link', but not quite as secure as 'login required' (with password) which requires a Google account.

It should be called 'login required' (without password).

What is the likelihood of somebody being able to guess that one email address of somebody that you shared a file with? Even if the link was reshared it would restrict access massively, but for the best security you could select the 'with password' option.

One of the perks of using Docs, Sheets, and Slides -- along with any other file types you’ve saved in Drive -- is that you can invite others to view, edit, or comment on any file or folder you choose. Starting today, sharing is a little bit simpler. ___I was actually hoping this was going to be a way of allowing you to share with certain contacts and them not requiring a password and therefore a Google account, but instead sign in with just their email address.

The other day I came across an update for the Email app that comes pre-installed on android (Nexus???) devices, developed by Google

I was surprised to find neither of my devices had the latest version, and neither auto updated. So do you have the latest version installed? Go check by following the link and seeing if you get an "update" or "open" button in the play store.

Before the big day tomorrow when the Moto360 comes out to play, which apps do you current android wear users recommend?

I'm thinking about hitting the ground running and installing some apps in preparation, so which have been your favourites?

Has +Motorola Mobility missed the boat and +LG Mobile Global pulled out a trump card just at the right moment.

I was all for the Moto 360 when I first saw it, but the wait is taking forever. Now one day after the Moto 360 is due for release, LG is going to show their hand in the round wearable domain. As it is only one day after the Moto 360, I'm sure many will wait to compare specs before placing their orders. Motorola could end up loosing some vital sells because of this.
So let's wait and see who has the better hand. I'm excited. Are you?

If you haven't heard about this trilogy of books, I highly recommend it. And if you have already read the first of the trilogy I highly recommend the second, Buzz.

I'm not the fastest of readers and don't find/make the time to read, In fact I have been reading this since the end of January and have only got half way through the second book. Everything I have read so far I have thoroughly enjoyed, and it really gets you thinking about what goes on around you. It could be so close to the truth. That's what makes it such an enjoyable read.

So what you waiting for?

I'm after some opinion on a use case for +Google Drive which maybe you and +Google Enterprise could help me with. I can't believe I am alone, and many businesses must struggle with this.

I'll try to get through this as quickly and painlessly as I can so do please bare with me if this post drags on.

I am a massive fan of +Google Drive and for my personal affairs it is perfect. I've even signed up to Google Apps for Business for my own private business affairs. Due to my love for this product I have recommended it to countless others and I have even looked in to trying to integrate Google Apps in to the company I work for. But I can't...

As an electrical installation company with engineers working around the country on different building sites, having access to latest drawings and other files from any of our engineers mobile devices would be a massive benefit. And being able to control which engineers get access to which files (only the sites they are working on) would be ideal. This is where Google Apps is potentially perfect for the job.

The problem comes with how to manage this in an office with a traditional IT setup. Now we are only a small company with one little local sever hosting our company files, and then a few computers linked to a network to work from these files. To break away from Microsoft Office just isn't an option. As much as I love Google Doc's and Sheets they just don't convert to Word or Excel documents very well, which is what our clients expect to work with. Even converting Google files to a PDF isn't perfect. What you see on a screen, isn't always what you see on paper. Too often formatting is lost and things don't align properly. It just doesn't look at all professional so I always end up reverting back to using Microsoft Office, as much as I hate it.

But the real problem comes with the change in how files are stored and accessed. Currently they are on a server of which any connected computer can access. If we went down the use of Google Drive, each user (creator of files) has their own list of files instead of one common company folder. I find this peculiar and my colleagues will find it impossible to get their heads round. Disregarding that, imagine if we uploaded all our company files to Google Drive, each time we wish to open a drawing or any other file you have to download that file and open it in a Windows Application. Less than ideal, and that's before you edit and re-upload the amended file. Solution, download the Drive for Windows App. This will create a Google Drive folder on my PC which stays in sync with my files which I can then open locally on my PC with any Windows application. But now everybody has to do this which means we now all have different files in our own Google Drive Folders instead of the one common folder on the server. Boy this is getting complicated, and imagine all that syncing on multiple PC's.

So now I am considering setting up the Server as a Google Apps user. Creating a Company Folder on that "Server" user account with all the company files. Setting up Google Drive for Windows on the server to create a Google Drive folder on the server containing all the company files. Then Mapping that as a network drive on each PC to look at that common Google Drive folder on the server so that we all see the same files and can open them with our chosen locally installed applications, including Microsoft Office. That Company Folder and/or all its sub folders could then be shared with individual engineers to allow them remote access to certain files from any mobile device via the Google Drive App. It sounds perfect.

The question is, is this even possible and if so, will all the office computers actually be able to access all the files in the Google Drive folder circumventing any privacy settings of each file/folder because you will all be seen as the "server" user. And, does it really need to be this complicated???

Thoughts appreciated. I want as much feedback as possible!

Best Buy USA has apparently let the cat out the bag. Moto 360 will retail for $250 which equates to £250 (yea currency conversion sucks when it comes to US products)

Honestly though, that will be £50 cheaper than I expect. But what I'm most excited about is the mention of WiFi. Hopefully this is not a mistake and the watch actually comes with inbuilt WiFi so that it can keep updated when your phone is else where. If true, this watch will kick some serious ass.

Edit Specs can be seen here http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/08/17/moto-360-shows-up-at-best-buy-with-full-specs-and-250-price-tag-listed-as-coming-soon/

I'm surprised I haven't seen anything about this in my steam but instead heard about it on the radio first. I'm not sure it'll be a motorbike as such, but a two wheeled autonomous vehicle, hopefully with a roof.

If all the leaked info about the Moto360 is true to date, I really hope +Motorola Mobility has one more ace up their sleeves...

I'm waiting for the announcement that it has inbuilt NFC which will work with apps like +Google Wallet or other contactless payment systems.

It's good to dream.

I'm considering setting up a business selling watch straps.

Yea that's right. Nobody I know has bought a watch strap in the last 30years and then came along android wear. Now everybody wants a custom watch strap for their new piece of technology. And I'm sure many people will buy more than just one.

So what do you think. Is their money in watch straps?

An essential upgrade to all android devices imo

Today we're releasing the Google Now Launcher for all devices that run Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and higher.

The Google Now Launcher gives you a home screen that's clean, simple and customizable. One swipe leads to Google Now cards, bringing you the right information at just the right time. Tapping the search box or saying "Ok Google" lets you ask a question or search the web. And of course, you can easily add your favorite apps, widgets and wallpaper.

To see the Google Now Launcher in action or to give it a try, check it out on Google Play: g.co/nowlauncher___An essential upgrade to all android devices imo

I'm not aware of any impromptu press events planned. Or any announced product release dates. Please don't make me wait the whole of August for my #moto360. The wait is making me go crazy.
