[VIDEO]  Jesus tells us in John 15 that if we will abide in Him, we will experience God’s will for our lives, and everything Jesus has will be ours.

Abiding means making Jesus the most important person in your life, living and remaining in Him, and making everything in life revolve around Him. That’s when we bear the fruit of a godly life. And that’s when God’s true joy is released in us.

One of the biggest revelations I’ve received from God is that my real life is the life that’s in me. The same goes for you!

Life is not your circumstances, the kind of house you live in, the kind of job you have or how much money you have. You can have the best of these things and still be miserable.

On the other hand, it’s amazing how happy and peaceful you can be in the middle of the lousiest circumstances, including the turmoil that’s going on in the world today, if you keep your heart in the right condition.

TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED THE 1930's, 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's!

 First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant.

 They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can and didn't get tested for diabetes.
 
 Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-base paints.
 
 We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, locks on doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had baseball caps not helmets on our heads.

 As infants & children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, no booster seats, no seat belts, no air bags, bald tires and sometimes no brakes.

 Riding in the back of a pick-up truck on a warm day was always a special treat.

By Christ’s example, we’re not only taught to love our enemies, we’re taught to pray for them too.

The truth is, a lot of what people take from you, they have no ability to give back to you. But God promises us double for our former trouble.

We can give to people who will give us gifts in return. But we’re more blessed when we choose to give to those who cannot pay us back—that’s giving mercy.

God’s unconditional love is a very difficult concept for people to accept because, in the world, there’s always payment for everything we receive. It’s just how things work here. But God is not like people!

Aren’t you glad about that?

We need to learn that whether or not we feel forgiven, we’re forgiven.

Fear brings torment, according to 1 John 4:18, and you surely can’t enjoy life and be tormented at the same time.

Isaiah 41:10 says, “Fear not, for I am with you.” I believe God works gently with us to bring us out of bondage and into liberty.

If you’ve been afraid of something and desire to be free, the time will eventually come when you’ll have to face your fear and not run away from it.

Just take Jesus’ hand, acknowledge that He is with you, and do it.

We must combat the dread that tempts us to stay in bed by keeping a positive attitude and mindset. Our attitude is so important to how we feel each day. The kind of day we have is, to a great degree, determined by our thoughts and actions. If we dwell on negative thoughts, expecting the worst, our actions will reflect those thoughts.

I have been literally worried sick about so many things, including my past, my future, my finances, what people thought about me. And because I couldn’t get my mind off of my problems, I found myself in a place of utter torment.

But we do not have to fear that God doesn’t love us or that He won’t come through for us in our time of need. We need to learn to accept the reality of His love for us, so that our fears do not control us.
