I was working in the office this afternoon and stopped to take a break from what I was doing. I started scrolling through image files from my trip to Fiji back in November 2011 and every time I get to these images from Levena Falls on Taveuni Island I stop dead in my tracks. To this day I have never seen color in the water like what you are seeing in this picture. This was captured deep in the Rain Forest / Jungle in the pouring rain. The opening in the tree canopy was letting in just enough reflective light to give the water this pearlescent glow, this isn't Photoshop kids, it's the real deal. The only filter I used was the Singh-Ray Vari-ND to slow my exposure time and the normal processing in Photoshop.

Sometimes on a landscape shoot after you have the hero shot, it's fun to do some selfie's. This shot was captured using a Hahnel Giga-T pro remote. I set up the shot, climbed up on the Arch and clicked the shutter release from where I was at.
