The Batmobile
This is a new theory I am testing...that car photos do well when posted at midnight... hehe... hardly scientific, and a flawed experiment since I am mentioning the experiment whilst in the middle of it... but, well, here you go... BAT SIX.

Daily Photo Theme
#SkySunday curated by +Simone Linke and +Matt Soave
Happy Sunday!
I took this photo shortly before the one I posted yesterday. I prefer this new photo, particularly because of the reflection of the light in the sand at the bottom.
It took me quite a few tries to capture this effect and I am happy about the result. Capturing the reflection required timing the long exposure (10 seconds) with the waves. To do this properly I had to wait for a big wave to crash on the beach and make sure smaller waves were following. I would trigger the exposure once the water from the big wave start retreating back into the ocean. It's a lot easier with shorted exposures but there was very little light left.
