So what exactly does it take to get an invitation to the #newmyspace  (a #newmyspaceinvite , if you will) ? 

I put my request in hours before several people I know, and they all received their invites. 

I just hope all this doesn't turn into another #ingress  mess. I had to leave G+ for a few days there.

I think it would be cool to have an online support circle of people you can talk to about your troubles. :)

So I've been looking for a couple of student workers to hire.  In my search, I asked applicants to write a basic how-to on using the command line to remotely shutdown a computer.  Their answers were, of course, not that great.  They are green and looking for a student worker role after all.  

That said, in case you didn't know, here's how you can do it pretty easily:

1) Preface:  You must have admin rights to restart the receiving system.
2) Go to your command prompt.  (cmd.exe)
3) Type shutdown /m \\whateverthecomputernameisORip /f /t 0
4) To restart instead of shutdown, add /r too.

Just so ya know.  ;-)
