The White-throated Kingfisher (Halcyon smymensis) also known as the White-breasted Kingfisher, is a tree kingfisher. This is a large kingfisher, 28 cm in length and is a common species of a variety of habitats, mostly open country in the plains with trees, wires or other perches. I am lucky enough to have got this shot in Juru, Butterworth in quite a close range...

This shot was taken awhile ago on one of the sunday morning where the gray clouds obscuring the sunrise. I was passing by and saw this Star Cruises coming in to the Swettenham Pier and took a shot at it...at least I still captured some golden light of that morning...

This was shot during the Chap Goh Meh which is the Fifteen day(ie the last day) of the Chinese New Year. The fireworks usually would held in the Esplanade and the popular place to take the shot would be near to the clock tower...
