I've been holding off on letting my gnex (and my nex7) apply the 4.2 OTA update due to performance and bug feedback I read on the web in November.  I have not been able to find any followup info since then.  What do you guys think? Should I upgrade from 4.1.2?

Oh, really, Android.  rectOne.intersect(recTwo) changes my rectangle (to the intersection area) when it returns true! I have to use the static function Rect.intersect*s* to simply detect intersection. Adding an "s"?  Really? Self-documentation fail.  Spent two hours walking my friggen QuadTree implementation. Ugh.

Just waiting for the Diablo III public beta to go live. On login attempts I have received disconnection errors, battle.net unavailable messages, and the servers are busy at this time messages. The current breaking news message is:

Dear +Google+ ,

I see the same item re-posted over and over in my stream. All these people are talking about the same topic... that similarity could help introduce these people to each other. I'd like to see these posts rolled up somehow. It certainly is not an easy problem to solve from a UI and security standpoint, but it would be helpful in many ways.

Cloud Backend for Mobile Apps

I have a couple app ideas that I've been putting off because I didn't want to write the database, sever code, and web service API's for my mobile app. It would just take too much time.

Lots of companies have popped up to help solve this problem. All of the companies below offer schema-less databases with a REST web service API. They host the data and I don't have to worry about the server stuff. Most of them also have an iOS and Android notifications service and several have Facebook and Twitter server side auth.

I did quite a bit of research and compiled this list. Leave a comment below if have an addition to the list.
