The glass was thick and we were moving too fast, i could forget about getting any clean shot. That's when I've decided to play a bit with the distortion of the wide angle.

I usually have to fight with it: choosing the proper view, avoid straight lines near the edge of the frame, correct distortion and CA in post...
It was liberating looking for it!

I hope you can have that much fun playing with your photography!

The Singapore Flyer is a giant Ferris wheel in Singapore that was constructed between 2005 and 2008. Described by its operators as an observation wheel, it reaches 42 stories high, with a total height of 165 m (541 ft), making it the tallest Ferris wheel in the world. +Light Bandit will be our photographer on the ground in Singapore showing us the Singapore Flyer.

Some shoots are hard to get because of the location, one has to hike, climb, swim, jump...
In this case it was pretty easy.
Well... except for the hordes of mosquitoes that kept attacking me repeatedly. But I fought them off and got my reward!
Doesn't that make me an hero?
