My contribution for +Sunday Music Mania curated by +Matt Shalvatis is from one of my favorite bands who put on one hell of a show. We saw Rammstein at the Oakland Coliseum and were amazed by the effort they put forth. The music was so harsh and edgy, pyrotechnics were amazing, lighting was mind blowing and the flame throwers were an insane addition! :)

Quality on this version is not the greatest but watching the reactions of the fans is a lot of fun too.

Okay...kayaking OK until sea got rough. Had not expected to have to get out of kayak and climb onto a huge lava rock formation for lunch. Climbing up....just two small gashes on shins . Getting back in water easier but much more painful.

Looking Right Past Us

This leopard had been intently scouting for prey from her termite mound vantage point, but she gave us a quick look just before she took off. We were very luck with our wildlife spottings on our trip to Africa. This one is from Londolozi Camp in South Africa, on the border of Kruger National Park.

Okay. I have been using an iPad 2 for a couple of weeks now and their G+ app really blows chunks. No way to click on a person's profile who added you to find out if you want to add them? Just willy nilly add them? I shouldn't bother with what circle to add them to I guess. Or maybe I'm supposed to write them all down on paper and search for each person. The Android app is tons better than the iOS app. Blah.

Today would have been my Dad's 84th birthday. When he was alive Valentines Day was usually a very good day with him. He'd nearly always insist on buying presents for us and was usually a lot of fun to hang out with.

Still miss him like crazy, especially today, even after 24 years. Happy Valentines Birthday Dad where ever you happened to end up.

My beautiful Tortie lost her left Fang today...somehow seems to have been yanked out at the root. She is only 5 years old and I don't see any decay. She is also a klutz as far as felines go. Have the tooth in milk in the fridge currently.. Vet appt at 8 am. I feel the activation of a previously unused credit card in the near future.
