Classic Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
Decided to get this gem off Google Play. I have no idea what prompted me except I'm just a solid fan. I have the movie on VHS, DVD, and BlueRay. I guess I have it on Google Digital now too. Nothing beats the original. Don't get me wrong the new movies are good but I love Kirk's character more in the movies. Sure he's known to be a womanizer but he was never the cowboy they made him out to be in the new ones. He was a strategic genius; something you don't see as much in the new ones. If you haven't see it yet check it out and it's a nice mirror to a lot of what's in Star Trek: Into Darkness. Oh and interesting fact, Kirstie Alley plays in it as a Vulcan. It's also the first appearance of the Kobayashi Maru test.

If you're previewing the new Google Maps, there's an easter egg hidden in outer space. Set your computer's clock back to Thursday, May 9th at 5pm PDT. Then, enter Earth view and zoom out till you see the cloud layer appear over the planet. Now, look northeast of Australia :). You'll see the little surprise we found as we were testing the new maps. And if you zoom out all the way, you'll even see the moon in front of the sun!

Google Photos - Awesome Motion
So it took a few days but Google finally animated a series of photos I took of a few kittens playing with a string. I did this mostly as a test since I can't seem to figure out what the requirements are for the animation to happen. I tried doing this with other things making sure I take the photos very quickly and nearly at the same look angle. I almost wish they'd just allow me to select my photos manually to animate them. Anyone else having any problems figuring out the "Awesome - Motion" Service??
By the way Kittens are up for adoption if anyone wants one. There are five pure-breed Persians.

What to do if you are in a car accident?
This seems like common sense but in your first or second accident as a new driver it can be a very confusing experience. It's a simple checklist by which I had to learn through trial and error over the years and this would have been great to have when I was younger. Believe it or not they didn't teach this when I was in Driver's education in High School.

Well this frustrating. Lately on Chrome OS when I go back to a other tabs it auto-refreshes the pages. Not a cool thing when i'm using Google Music.Anyone got the same issue or have any fix suggestions?

Had a blast today @USGIF Tech Day located at the +Hyatt in Reston, VA. Plenty of attendees got the opportunity to try on #Glass and it made my day to see the general excitement on folks faces when they first slid the glasses on and saw the display. I stood infront and ran each person through a 5-10min tutorial of how to use most of the features. This is why there are so many photos of myself ;) All of the users could truly understand the capabilities as they exist currently and I saw a few sparkles as the ideas started brewing for future capabilties. The most enthusiastic of the bunch were the HighSchool students towards the entrance that were demoing their Geo related projects. #GCW2013 #throughglass #glassexplorers +Carrie Drake +Keith Masback +Adam Simmons +Michele Weslander Quaid
