I took this earlier today as I watched mockingbirds in my neighbor's tree telling a Harris Hawk to take a hike. There are mockingbird babies close by. I love mockingbirds - they have no fear!!

I took some photos of my friend's daughter before her pony lesson. She had just brushed her pony so her hands had the indentations from the brush handle on them but otherwise I like this shot.... It was hard as it was harsh afternoon, desert sun right outside of the stable.
