Food for thought. Photography has turned from (in the best of the cases) an art process to a imagery production. What is left, if we start editing seriously? And how should we do this?

Das Konzert findet am Samstag 23.11.2013, in der Kirche St. Josef Rath (Rather Kirchplatz, Düsseldorf) statt.

Der Probenplan ist angehängt, Weitere Teilnehmer herzlich willkommen!

Die erste Probe hat gestern stattgefunden. Das ist ein schöner großer Chor! Und es klingt jetzt schon hervorragend. Für die, die gestern nicht da sein konnten:

Wir haben mit dem "Benedictus" ab Seite 30 im Klavierauszug begonnen, einschließlich dem folgenden "Hosanna" und dem "Sanctus" am Schluß.

Es kann noch jeder einsteigen :-)

Talking about photographs:
This is being shown a lot in the internet community lately. I think that - apart from the question if August Landmesser (this is the name of the man refusing the Nazi salute) was a "hero" or not (which in this moment the photograph was taken at least I guess he was) - the image is emblematic. It tells a story. It makes you want to know more about the situation and the reasons. Anyway, as the Washington Post puts it, "the response to Landmesser’s photographic lesson speaks to an Internet audience hungry for stories of moral heroism." Apple has halted the sales of the Samsung 10.1 tablet by a preliminary injunction before a German Court, based (among others) on the argument that Samsung copied their registered Community Design for the iPad (note: we are just talking about the design!).

Now, this is funny. Someone should send this image of a 7'' picture frame, Samsung was selling in 2006 already to the judge :-) Looks familiar? :-D
