Minneapolis Photo Opportunities?
This image was not from Minneapolis (actually Yellowstone Park) but I am planning on going to Minneapolis this week-end. I will have some time to explore and photograph the downtown area (on foot) Saturday and Sunday morning.
Are there any Google+ folks out there who could share places I might want to check out and photograph?
I have heard a lot about the downtown area and I am really looking forward to my visit! Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Bob

I spent a lot of time working on images this week-end in Adobe Lightroom. This is a great tool and I seem to learn something new about it every time I use it. Here is a really interesting post from Tom Shue on what the sliders in Lightroom (Version 4) are really doing. Home others find it interesting too!

I heard a good NPR radio report this morning on Columbus Indiana. A really great place to go to work on architectural photography!
This image was one I took a couple of months ago in Columbus.
Here is a link to Susan Stamberg's report.

I have a friend who has a DSLR with the dreaded Nikon "ERR" message in the top screen. I thought this was an interesting way to get to the bottom of the problem.
I can't imagine what happens next!
Thanks kong07234 on YouTube for posting.
I hope all my photo friends will enjoy this!

Years ago I took a shot in a glade in Lake Tahoe. I always loved the shot, but technically it was awful (out of focus, grain, etc). Doing a little work on it brings it back to life (in my mind).

This image is from South Africa 4 years ago.
Here is a question -- what technique do people use to save and re-post theme pages and curators. This is something I am going to refer to a lot and there must be an easier way than to type in the info each post.
I know one can type in a "+" and Google+ will bring up some alternatives but this process is time consuming. Any shortcuts?

Can someone please explain to me how Google+ handles my requests to not allow downloading of my images?
I have my profile "Allow Viewers to Download Photos" set as unchecked, When I test this after updating the profile, I can still download the jpg files.
What am I missing?
I figure that someone out there has already figured this out so your input would be greatly appreciated!

A couple of months ago, I was shooting at a stream in Pennsylvania, near Carlisle. Nothing like fast flowing water to create some (I think) interesting images.

I saw a really good leopard image by +Angelika Ritter this morning which made me think of fond memories from Kruger Park. This leopard image was taken by me during a visit in May 2012 on the Western side of the park.
I have not found a Google + stream for African wildlife images -- any suggestions?

Reminder: The Amazing Photographers Circle (APC) –– READ BEFORE ASKING FOR INCLUSION
On Monday (noon CET) it's time to share the revised and validated Amazing Photographers Circle again –– my fantastic collection of amazing photographers from all around the world.
If YOU want to be included in the circle, now it's a good time to apply. Things to consider: reshare this reminder, leave a comment here that you want to be included and make sure that I can find some good original photography of yours in your feed. Please do NOT add ANY external links to the comments –– I check Google+ feeds only. Comments with external links will be deleted.
If I plus your comment, it means that you've been included. If I did NOT plus your comment, you probably did not reshare this post.
Cheers!

I spent a terrific week-end in Columbus Indiana taking photographs of the architectural wonders all over town. This is an image from the North Christian Church which was designed by Eero Saarinen. Beautiful design both inside and out! I will post some additional images in my Columbus Indiana album.
