Entrepreneurs, Self Employed & Small Business. This is the latest update to my shared circle for ...Entrepreneurs, Self Employed & Small Business. This is the latest update to my shared circle for "entrepreneurs" which includes the self employed, small business owners, independent contractors, small startup companies and pretty much anyone trying to make it outside of the traditional economy.
This is different from the other business circles of this type in that it doesn't include too many of the "celebrity entrepreneurs" and instead has mostly people with their own small business or venture. Lots of time has been spent organizing this since it was first published - many new people have been added, and some have been dropped - mostly because they don't interact much. The end result is a circle of interesting business people who actively interact with others here and have a small business or entreprenueral mindset.
I do want to add the disclamer that this is in no way "definitive" - there are millions of entrepreneurs on Google+ and these are just the ones I have curated. This still probably doesn't even include everyone in my own circles who are entrepreneurs or self employed so let me know if you want to be included. I republish this about once per month.
This is a really diverse group of people that includes entrepreneurs of all stripes - some have well established ventures, some have startups that are just getting going and some are wildly successful. There are even a handful of people here who have traditional jobs, but seem to have an interest in entrepreneurial and small business issues. The professionals in this circle post all manner of things - not just business, but all are smart and interesting people so I recommend that you at least take a look.
As with any circle of this size I would use some discretion in adding this - either pick and choose the ones you like or use it as a trial circle - whatever method works for you. I also recently learned that you can save circles to your Google contacts so you can save this information there even if you don't want to use this toward your 5000 limit.
I hope you find the people in this circle interesting. I certainly do.
