3 women, missing for years, found alive in Cleveland house

WEWS: Cleveland police said missing teens Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and a third woman were found in a west side house on Monday.

Berry was last seen in 2003 when she was called her sister to say she was getting a ride home from work at the Burger King; DeJesus, 14 at the time, went missing in 2004.

Hundreds of people gathered in the streets near the house where the women were discovered. Cleveland police said Berry, DeJesus and Michelle Knight are alive, talking and appear to be OK.

Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson said a third woman, Michelle Knight, was also found alive.

Miss Korea 2013 is coming up. Look closely. This isn't the same woman with different clothes and hair. It's all the contestants for Miss Korea. Like this epic Reddit thread states, "Korea's plastic surgery mayhem is finally converging on the same face." Sure they're all beautiful, in exactly the same ways though.

Apparently, in South Korea, these girls are called "Samsung Robots" because they all get the same kind of plastic surgery.

Today the Wall Street Journal wrote about Mom 2.0 and correctly identified it as a conference for moms... then they quoted mom bloggers who said things like  "I will eat junk out of the minibar," and "I will not watch 'SpongeBob.' "

Apparently this has everyone up in arms... which is strange to me. If you don't put it out there no one will mention it, right?

I'm studying people's reactions to Glass

I've been on three flights so far, about to get on the fourth, to Berlin. So far no crew has asked me to turn off my Google Glass. Why not? They don't realize it's on. It usually is off, no lights, no indicators. But it's always ready to take a photo.

Which means I got a neat photo that would have otherwise got me in trouble.

Other reactions?

Everyone wants to try it on. Even those who are disgusted by it. 

It has not failed to recognize anyone's voice commands, even a guy with a deep Australian accent.

Everyone says that the popularity of Glass will totally depend on the price. Most say they will be interested if it's under $500.

Okay folks I'm not sure how to get google+ events off my iphone. I decline them as quickly as possible here and they don't appear on my google calendar.

Also when they appear on my iphone there's no way to delete them so I think I'm busy and then I find out that it's some dopey MLM thing in Iowa. 

What have you done to fix this? I need help.

Reading the discussion about +Adria Richards's firing is stunning. 

Men are posting things like "gets guy fired and then gets fired" "Adria Richards: offended by everything" and women are posting "woman calls men out for sexist behavior on twitter and gets fired"

It all exhausts me.

Also an apology that starts with "father of three" is really just a bullshit manipulation. No one cares how many kids you have when they hire you and no one should care when they fire you. I dislike the connotation that Adria is somehow responsible for his kids.

In #Steubenville   Ohio a community rallied around a group of rapists and alleged rapists and the rest of the country thought they were crazy. 

Well, yesterday two CNN reporters went on air to show pity and compassion for the two convicted rapists who "had such bright futures". 

We have problems.
