It contains 357 (and growing) Chefs, Food Bloggers, Amateur Cooks, Nutritionists, Wine Experts, Recipe Developers, Food Scientists, Companies.... you get the idea. As I was watching the stream from this circle it is running about 85% Food and Drink Posts You won't ever have a reason not to cook something while looking at this circle. Am I alone in creating this? Of course not! This circle is like a great recipe:The master circle curator +Chris Robinson gave me a great start, and a base to go off of. Then +Amanda Blain had her awesome food and bacon circles to put a bit more flavor in, these are the main entrees of the circle, the heavy hitters, the big pages, the well-known foodies recommended by many. Then there are some smaller ingredients, the seasoning to the circle, the nuances. I got a lot of help from the #top5 circles yesterday, brought about by +Natalie Villalobos, and participated by many. Also all those folks that helped, by mentioning their favorite foodies in my last two posts about this circle. Then I scoured the circles of those people, literally skimming through thousands of profiles to find those profiles and pages with less than 300, 200, and even 100 people that have them circled, but they still post every day relentlessly. I think they deserve some recognition for such hard work and dedication to what they love, and reach a wider audience. Now, with this many folks, it is hard to make sure they are all 100% active, but I checked and most if not all have at least 4 or 5 posts at minimum from the last month, and many have much much more than that; posting several times a day. So a huge thank you to everyone that contributed, helped, made suggestions, and of course, made the stream look like a banquet feast. Also: If you feel like you need to be in this circle, Let me know!! I will check out your profile and if you post like these folks, you're in. Another Thing: Don't feel hurt if you're not in this circle. If you want in, you'll have to do these 2 things:Post more oftenPost more about food. That is the criteria for the circle. Then +Amanda Blain had her awesome food and bacon circles to put a bit more flavor in, these are the main entrees of the circle, the heavy hitters, the big pages, the well-known foodies recommended by many. Then there are some smaller ingredients, the seasoning to the circle, the nuances. I got a lot of help from the #top5 circles yesterday, brought about by +Natalie Villalobos, and participated by many. Also all those folks that helped, by mentioning their favorite foodies in my last two posts about this circle. Then I scoured the circles of those people, literally skimming through thousands of profiles to find those profiles and pages with less than 300, 200, and even 100 people that have them circled, but they still post every day relentlessly. I think they deserve some recognition for such hard work and dedication to what they love, and reach a wider audience. Calling all bakers, eaters, and Austinites! Austin Bakes for Austin is a massive, citywide bake sale going on this Saturday to raise funds for Austin Disaster Relief Network. Proceeds will be going to ADRN to help out our neighbors affected by the recent floods.
