I don't do many cutouts in Photoshop. Actually I rarely do anything but cosmetic retouching. But I love to be able to, so now and then I grab an old scrapped photo and try to get better (or at least avoid forgetting what I already know). Like changing a bad background with something a little less bad - without loosing the hair (besides my own...)

After being occupied with portraits for the last two months I'm now going back into modelling mode. 30 sessions booked today. This summer I'll focus on outdoor model photos in the early morning and beautiful summer nights. Really looking forward to it.

After a confirmation in church it has turned into a common tradition (here in Denmark at least) that the young people get picked up in limousines, racing cars, cool motorcycles or veteran cars. Not this cool fellow here - he wasn't even picked up. He drove this old tractor himself - and it's actually his own. I like kids that don't flow with the stream. Way to go!

How do you work with colours?
I've been working with EIZO monitors for years because of their ability to show a larger part of the colour spectrum than average monitors. Out of the box they tend to be slightly more saturated and red than standard monitors, but when using a colour profile, like the one I make with my Spyder 3 Elite calibration tool, they are perfect. As with white balance I consider it essential to have an accurate starting point, where everything is as close to "absolute" as can be achieved. Especially when I need to process images for printing it's far easier this way to get the printed results that I want.

But most of my images are viewed on screen. Probably something close to 99,99% of all views. And I don't even print that many images myself anymore - they are often just shipped digitally to printing shops, but luckily may favorite printing... more »

Selling stock footage
I'm considering to invest more time (and money) in the sale of stock footage. Unfortunately Photoshelter (that I use for my stock photo sales) doesn't support selling video. I'm looking at different options for an alternate site for stock video. Any recommandations beside SmugMug?
