I like the new Flickr. Great improvements, guys. But you are still missing a point in the interaction. You don't have anything similar to Like or +1. Yes, you have the Favourites collection, but that's not quite the same. In the favourites I like to put the photos that inspire me, the ideas I want to borrow or the photos that I just want to look at again. I don't have an option for telling people "Great job", "That's funny" or "Cool". I want to be able to tell people that this made my heart ticker somehow, without writing more or less pointless oneliners as I go through the stream of photos. Hey, you could call them Tickr's, and the favourites Stickr's. Hah! Buy me a coffee Flickrs, I deserve it! ;-)

It's pretty amazing that a series that can't be considered the ordinary TV stuff has stayed popular in the cult-grade style for decades - and seems to remain there. Can't remember any other ongoing show that have succeeded in this.

Oh, so NOW you are fighting back. That was about time, my dear Flickrians. Hope you can catch up with all the competitors now. Even if you've been lazy in your old days I actually think you deserve another shot.

Even though making thousands of staged photos every year, my personal favourites have always been (and will always be) the unstaged and imperfect photos I make in between. They don't sell quite as well, but they are just so much closer to what I try to capture as I think I can ever get.

Did you notice that we won the European Song Contest yesterday? Not that I care much, and didn't hear the song until tonight, but must admit that it's quite okay (for mainstream music).
"We" refer to "Denmark". You know, the capital of Sweden.

Bought a cake. Left it unattended in the house while boys were present. This is what is left. Thank you, boys.
Don't know what's about the american flag there...

Well, I'm too old to do that. If I ever get down there I'll never get back up, and will have to make a living out of photographing insects on the ground. But fortunately, I have some great models doing all the hard work.

Being a model photographer I use model releases in connection with a lot of shoots. I have one for adults and one for minors. If you'd like to use them, or be inspired to make your own, you can find my model releases here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BwPAdh7ltSxXU1NaM2ZfVG5zWDg&usp=sharing

I don't do many cutouts in Photoshop. Actually I rarely do anything but cosmetic retouching. But I love to be able to, so now and then I grab an old scrapped photo and try to get better (or at least avoid forgetting what I already know). Like changing a bad background with something a little less bad - without loosing the hair (besides my own...)

After being occupied with portraits for the last two months I'm now going back into modelling mode. 30 sessions booked today. This summer I'll focus on outdoor model photos in the early morning and beautiful summer nights. Really looking forward to it.

After a confirmation in church it has turned into a common tradition (here in Denmark at least) that the young people get picked up in limousines, racing cars, cool motorcycles or veteran cars. Not this cool fellow here - he wasn't even picked up. He drove this old tractor himself - and it's actually his own. I like kids that don't flow with the stream. Way to go!

How do you work with colours?
I've been working with EIZO monitors for years because of their ability to show a larger part of the colour spectrum than average monitors. Out of the box they tend to be slightly more saturated and red than standard monitors, but when using a colour profile, like the one I make with my Spyder 3 Elite calibration tool, they are perfect. As with white balance I consider it essential to have an accurate starting point, where everything is as close to "absolute" as can be achieved. Especially when I need to process images for printing it's far easier this way to get the printed results that I want.
But most of my images are viewed on screen. Probably something close to 99,99% of all views. And I don't even print that many images myself anymore - they are often just shipped digitally to printing shops, but luckily may favorite printing... more »

Meet Mr. Light. Never complains, doesn't ask for a raise, never calls in sick and works all day long without any breaks. The perfect assistant for light adjustment.

One of today's confirmation portraits. Again using one of my favourite barns as the location because of the amazing light and background that can be found there.

Confirmation jump. A funny moment at my son's confirmation party today. If you want to make sure that a party isn't boring, just invite some of your kid's classmates. That'll cheer up even a funeral.
